This game was rather fun at first but very quickly you start to notice that there are about half a dozen models for buildings and about the same for cars. There's what, 4 main enemy types and about the same number of boss types. It gets extremely samey and repetitive after the first 5ish hours. It's cool they put in so much work to make the game physically large but that comes at the expense of depth. If you enjoy exploration collectathons for their own sake, you might enjoy this, but I just couldn't stick with it.

Update: Since writing that review in August, trying to give the devs both the benefit of the doubt and the time needed to fix bugs, I can only say it's gone down hill. The biggest issue is a totally broken MMR system and known issues with servers still being broken literal years later. Additionally, this game has lost its soul and the essence of what made us all start playing in the first place. This game has become all Showdown and no Hunt. I wish they would stop adding game breaking mechanics and continuing this trend of over buffing/nerfing mechanics because they are clearly too lazy to test out if new things or reworked things will change the outlook and approach of the game. I'm all for innovation (BRING BACK THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RAIN) but it's gotten lazy like they're trying to compete with the Fornites and the CODS and the other trash console games. This latest event is probably the last straw for me. I have no faith in the devs and the direction of this game anymore.

This game just underwent a major overall. It looks better than it ever has. That said there's some wrinkles to iron out but the devs of this game really care about putting out a quality product. The UI is not the best but neither was the last one. Give this game some time and patience and you won't be disappointed.
