What a live service game should be, with devs that actually care and want to be there, and (mostly) listen to community feedback. An extremely rare thing in 2024, can't put it down. 10/10

This game is FPS crack

I really want to love this game. I really really do. As someone who has been playing since halo 2, they got the fundamentals right. The gunplay is solid, movement has been improved and it visually looks amazing. There's just absolutely no content. 3 big team battle maps to start off?!? with one of them being complete garbage? There has been 1 (one) actual content update to this game, and it released in DECEMBER. It seems that their main team is only working on updates to the store, which is the only thing they care about, and also where 99% of the cool armors are. And that 1% you can only unlock after grinding god-awful challenges, instead of simply playing the game. SO much fixing what wasn't broken, SO much excess monetization, it's truly sad. The campaign is completely overshadowed by the terrible approach to multiplayer. It's a shame, because it really is a fun and solid experience, but it is forever tarnished by being attached to 343, who seem to have a contempt for actually making the long term experience with the game a horrible and grindy one.

Why play a game that's the same experience pretty much every time that gives you no rewards or sense of progression?

Played a ton in early access, now that 1.0 is out it's even better
This is one of the worst time sink games I've come across, you'll need one thing which requires 3 others and suddenly it's 3am.
Factorio in 3D and it's fantastic.

Has some issues but it provides some intense moments and fun times. The real danger isn't the zombies, but the other players.
