this game gets too much hate, had the game on xbox 360, but wanted to play it again so i bought it.

Great combat system. easly in my opinion the best combat system in all of FF, yes if you play through every battle, like your mind forces you to because of that little voice saying what about those ememies you will have almost no selection in how you build you characters. however i really enjoyed how every character can use attack, healing, supporting and defence rolls. the paradigm system is a great addition to allow you to optimize your team mid battle or react to a changing enviroment,

the in between is ♥♥♥♥.

i hate these narrow linear paths. this game ruined them for me. until pulse i really did not like walking. the story is good if you invest in it and read the datalog to understand it. they really could have dumbed it down so you wouldnt have to. the cast of characters are good with the exception of snow and hope who i cant stand. and honestly i really enjoyed how the game kept you in the dark about a lot of the ♥♥♥♥ going on for a majority of your playtime.

WOW, this was an emotional ride all the way through and just kept getting better. A master piece of story telling with perfectly compelmenting music. 10/10 will recomend to anyone who wish to be crying at the end regardless of age.

One of my favorite games ever, yes, the game works a lot better with far, and yes to make it enjoyable you need a contoller, however if you have both this game is 10/10, there are some minor glitches from the port, but they are not very prevolent, just remember if you boot the game for the first time and there is a big white screen just hit alt+enter, dont spend an hour trying to figure it out.

9/10 deducted for crappy port, and reliance on user mod.

Once upon a time I would give this game a positive review as it was acctually a good game, however with the level of ♥♥♥♥ that the devs are I can no longer give it a positive review, thus the new review. The game has gone to ♥♥♥♥. The devs care more about content releases than fixing the major issues within the game, constent refusal to either serverlock, or ping cap servers breaks any form of competative playing that they wish to promote. (Somehow they believe that a 200 ping is "ok". The game has broken guns and classes, not to mention modes that are just flat out stupid. I am all for the new airorne mode, if it was just done correctly, they finally made a new "good" map compared to the ♥♥♥♥ storm of trash maps that existed prior, and it is for a mode that when you drop in you cant even control your decend. 90% of the maps in this game are beyond broken and promote staking out the enemy spawn with ak's and picking off the other team right as they move. competative gameplay in this game is laughable as the devs refuse to ping cap the competative channels forcing you to play against people with pings greater than .999. the games previously best point, that you could access 100% of the content without paying a penny and just grind is no longer even true as now the best knifes and one of the best guns are stuck behinf lootboxes. The devs also act as if they wish for feedback, and a lot of good feedback is given however it seems as if almost none of it is ever implemented. Not to mention there is a known issue about people hacking, I will give it credit that there are less now than there was a couple months ago, but you still see them quite often here and there.

I havnt payed a penny and im ranked 600 somthing overall
Hackers were very common but with new patches theve dwindled in numbers.
Great community in the game and I hope for many upadates and a long life for this game
