d0x360, send you a friend request. We don't know each other but I think we love the same sort of games, both flat and VR. Cheers.

Ok this was too long by 350 letters so I'm gonna try to post it right this time which means I post it backwards but you read it top to bottom lol.

Ty [JPF] Mx, I appreciate the info and will put it to good use.

Eclipse & mactx, I appreciate it. People are being way too snobby about it. I remember when everyone was begging for controller support in games and that includes hardcore stuff like CS GO. It's just kids thinking they are somehow better because they only use MKB.

Well screw that lol. I'll use it for certain games otherwise I wouldn't have spent $200 on the stupid cycon (I think) Couchmaster 2. It's just 2 foam pads that sit beside you and a big flat piece of plastic with a USB hub inside that lays on top. It definitely gets the job done and is comfortable to use but usually I'm just looking to relax and have fun so I prefer controller.

I also prefer my LG C1 over a monitor and I prefer my 11.2 surround sound setup over a headset or headphones. Stereo Atmos is magic but legit Atmos is unbeatable. I can hear things they can't because even the best headphones can't reproduce the range of sounds that all the various sizes speakers can and positional audio is pinpoint accurate.

PC gaming has always ALWAYS been about choice whether it's game mods, controller, MKB, a racing wheel... Whatever. There is no wrong way, there is no right way. There is only the freedom to choose

Saw you in the GTFO forum thread - you can downgrade the game with the Steam Depot Downloader and connect to the servers, so if you have 3 friends who want to play old rundowns you can - https://gtfo.fandom.com/wiki/Rundown#Canonical_Explanation us this to see when the rundowns went live and use https://steamdb.info/depot/493521/manifests/ to find the builds to download. Good luck!

It was in reference to that excellent comment about Controller implementation in the game "Blood West"... I thought adding the other guy's quote and your answer was spot on!!!

OK, I'm a fan and fellow gamer... Thx for your opinions...

Post 1, read from here down. Easier that way. This and following 2 posts are to be considered 1 long entry.

@Gray Fox, I hear yah. I have my PC in my living room and also sometimes just wanna chill and use a controller. I have this thing called the Couchmaster which makes couch MKB play easy but... It goes back to the sometimes I just wanna relax and I find it easier to do with a controller.

I pretty much ask for native controller support in every game I have interest in. It's the first thing I do in the forum before wishlisting. If the dev says no plans I'm less likely to buy.
d0x360 27 Apr, 2022 @ 4:28pm
The same goes for free locomotion in VR. Basically it's regular dual analog fps controls instead of teleporting. If a game doesn't have free locomotion or both options then I won't buy it. I can't stand teleporting around... It's not exactly immersive and I play VR for immersion.

So I'll keep asking and anyone else who wants support should too but I have 1 piece of advice and it's simple. Before making a new topic to ask just search the forum and see if there is one or more already. I usually just search "controller" and pick the biggest topic with the most posts to bump up and if there isn't one yet then I'll make one.

Allot of people will either tell you to use steam input (controller emulation that I personally don't like) or tell you that it's PC and use MKB.
d0x360 27 Apr, 2022 @ 4:28pm
(last post start from top read down)For the first group just remind them that emulation is never as accurate as native support, especially since xinput is built into direct x to begin with.

For the 2nd group... Remind them that PC gaming is and always has been about freedom and choice. Your choice not theirs. You can even explain why if you want. I often do simply in hopes the developers will see it and consider it. Usually early access games made by a small team or 1 person are the games that don't start with support.

Then when I get a dev response I let them know that when controller support is added they will have my sale but not before (that not before depends on the game) and more often than not i end up seeing it added.

Be careful with ForbeZ, he's a forum troll who never admits being wrong, and will endlessly argue with you trying to make you lose your patience so they can report you for attacking them.
d0x360 4 Feb, 2019 @ 7:02pm
It seems like we failed at stopping milestone. They release a new game like every other month lol.
HK-47 28 Sep, 2016 @ 11:26am
Indeed. Hahaha. They will see the truth when they realize no updates are ever coming, unless you count spending $60 every year for a new polished turd. It just is a shame that the only two-wheeled games are terrible. I have shattered my right foot, and ankle last year casing a double, so I am hardly able to ride like I used to. I seriously hope that some Dev group steps up to the plate and makes an amazing motorcycle game. But I refuse to feed a corrupt company my hard earned cash.
d0x360 28 Sep, 2016 @ 10:54am
They aren't getting under my skin. If they wanna delude themselves into thinking it's a good game just so they don't have buyers remorse then I feel sorry for them more than anything
HK-47 28 Sep, 2016 @ 9:45am
Milestone is a problem. We are part of the solution. I have thrashed their games on the forums since I wasted my money on the first MXGP, and if they gave 1/2 a damn about their rep, then they would've banned me by now. Don't let those fanboys get under your skin.
