90s classic point-n-click adventure brought back to life with lots of love and lack of budget. First hour of my playthrough was almost painful and I felt close to a rage-quit after the mime puzzle. However, story and characters kept me engaged and in a couple of hours I was deeply in love with this game. I barely remember original Gabriel Knight, but remake feels very precise, sometimes even too precise - some jokes and themes from 1993 look a bit weird in 2017. However, it is a great way to experience one of the best golden age adventure games almost as it was, disregarding visual polish. Animations and voiceovers look and sound terrible sometimes, though. But there is some kind of magic that keeps you interested and deeply connected to the story and characters. I would definitely love to see other games from the series remade and hope this will happen some day.

Absolutely brilliant. Must have if you enjoyed Commandos or Desperados back in the old days. Nothing else to say: it is exactly the same oldschool tactical gameplay in a modern game. I honestly wish there were more games in this genre.

Great narrative-driven game with awesome writing, stunning sound design, exccelent voice-acting and quite a fresh and interesting approach to storytelling. Comfortably short, and seems to be replayable.

The only Telltale game I wouldn't recommend playing. A very generic Batman story featuring most of the characters we've seen in recent films and TV series. Telltale tried to show them from different and sometimes totally unexpected angles, but forgot to make an interesting story. Absolute boringness comes with episode 4 and stays with players until the very end of the game.

Interesting approach to narrative design and great music, but the game itself is just another pretentious WTF walking simulator. Looks like developers tried to adopt David Lynch's style of storytelling, but just weren't skillful enough to make it interesting. Better spend your money on the soundtrack alone, it totally worth it.

One of the best stories about time travel ever created. Stunning visuals and audio. Mediocre action gameplay and boring level design. Writing and acting in the game itself feels way better than in the built-in TV-show. Anyway, if you are on the narrative side, the game is absolutely a must have. If you are not, don't expect any revelations.

Awesome slashing mechanics, perfect dynamic music and totally stunning cut-scenes, QTE and animations. Story is totally terrible though, especially regarding whole Metal Gear lore. Also, one of the hardest and the longest boss fights ever existed.

Must have if you are nostalgic about Blade Runner and Beneath a Steel Sky. Clever, logical and stylysh adventure featuring athmosphere of good old "blue" cyberpunk from the 90's. Gengineering, virtual reality and lots of high-tech-low-life stuff are guaranteed.

It was the best gaming experience I've had in 5 years or so. It was really painful to realise that this great game was never properly finished. Thanks to Hideo Kojima for this awesome work and lots of curses to Konami for not letting it happen in a right way.

120 часов моей жизни. Продолжительность игры немного раздражала во время прохождения, но закончив эту историю я могу сказать, что не жалею ни о единой минуте, проведённой за этой гениальной игрой. Игра года, совершенно заслужено.

120 hours of my life. Duration of this game drove me crazy during my playthrough. But at the end of this story I must say, that I have no regrets about time I spent playing this magnificent game. Totally deserved its GOTY title.
