Some day, when "Karate Master 3: Meaty Attack on Wakeup" is complete and takes the fighting game community by storm, people will look back at this game as the framework and faint hints of something great. Until then, pick up Karate Master 2 and enjoy it for what it is: A short, fun game despite its many flaws.

This is one of the best CRPGs of its generation, bugs and all. Other franchises offer (arguably) better stories with less gameplay hitches, but they don't allow you the degree of character customization and freedom of gameplay that the Elder Scrolls series will. You could play Skyrim for 100 hours without seeing everything the game has to offer, then you could mod it until it's unrecognizable and play it for hundreds more.

It's like the first Portal, only more of everything. More rooms, more mechanics, more superb writing, etc. If you enjoy videogames you will enjoy this.

This is one of those games where the most minor attempt at explanation spoils the effect. So, just take my word for it and play it. You won't regret it. Just know that it's not a long game, but what little time you'll spend with it is well worth the price of admission.
