I tried playing a few matches with him on CS2, but towards the ends of matches that we would otherwise lose, he always toggles his rage and wall hacks. It's really frustrating because it puts an emotional barrier up between me and him. I worry that he's nervous to show me a more weaker and vulnerable side to me. This has been really troubling in our relationship because I'm not sure how I can get him to lower his guard around me, show him that I'm not a threat and that I want to get to know him personally, both mentally and physically. I keep affirming to him that it's OK to show his true emotions, vulnerabilities, and that he's not a weaker person because of it. He's come out of his shell a little but still somewhat shy in this regard. I'll keep chipping away at it, because I still have strong feelings for him even despite this issue.
