Such great memories... you know, it's a funny thing that happened to me, when I was a kid. The first Scooby-Doo series that I watched, was "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo", which had just came out. So, later on, when I saw the original series, I thought to myself "Whoa, it's the gang, but now they're older. It was a great idea for them to make them older and continue to solve mysteries, like they did when they were kids." classic childhood thinking, without realizing that the prequel was done after the original. xD

And yeah, everyone's dislike for Scrappy was only made even larger, because of what James Gunn did on the original Scooby-Doo live-action movie, when he wrote Scrappy being the main villain in it. But the truth is, Scrappy did save the franchise, when he first showed up as a breath of fresh air, when the original series formula was beginning to feel stale. The trouble was, that he started to become too annoying. Even so, one of his latest appearences in "Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers", they changed his personality a little, and I think they nailed him just right. He wasn't annoying and he you could see that he was not trying to get himself or the others into trouble. I think that if they brought him back into a new show, with that change in his personality, people might actually grow fond of him again.

So... Velma is more of a bagel person, than a donut person, and she only uses her glasses because she thinks she looks cool with them, huh? xD (I could see that happening for real. Truth be told, she's way sexier with glasses than without them). And Fred was supposed to have brown hair in the concept art? I became a sort of Scooby specialist nerd, and I didn't know that one (guess we learn somehting new, every day).

A lot of people, especially newcomers for the Scooby fandom, sometimes don't know that the original idea for Scooby and the gang was to have them being just like Josie and the ♥♥♥♥♥cats. On one hand, I'm sad that we never got to see that happening, but on other, I'm glad that they changed it, so they could fully focus on the mystery part. Still, we got a glimpse of how that could've been in the "Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost", when the gang performed alongside the Hex Girls.
