Super simple game but very addictive. The devs are really open to feedback and kept constant updates/communication throughout the Early Access which shows their dedication and passion. Definitely worth full price!

Only game i own that i play the second an update comes out. Amazing power fantasy game! I don't fear the bullet hell, these poor creatures that want a hug do.

Pretty solid but a few bugs that slow the game. overall pretty good!

Review Update: In the most recent patch (10/18/21) it was confirmed that what i experienced was a bug and it was patched by the Devs. I just want to thank them for their hard work and the time they put into this game! I had to be honest with my initial review for those looking to buy this game and for the developers who worked on it. I have left my original review and edit below for full transparency and context. It no longer applies so also ignore the belligerent comments accordingly. Now that the bug has been fixed and i have completed the campaign i am updating my review to give a big fat thumbs up! I have never played a better RTS/tower defense type game in my life! they have truly knocked this one out of the park. The weapons the mech suit get feel very diverse and all provide an equally fun experience (i prefer the spear though). The research trees are amazingly large! This is a massive plus because the amount of time you put into exploring and building many many bases would feel tedious if now for the constant tech upgrades and unique biomes. This game truely rivals any triple A game i have ever played. If you are on the fence about this one then jump off and make the buy, its worth the money and time!!

The balance and progress of the game fills nice but there are some game ending issues that made me call it quits. I had a earth quake right in the middle of my main base but instead of steadily doing damage over time it just nuked all of my buildings, which include majority of my power production and storage. I no longer can keep enough power to make the resources needed to rebuild. I could understand if i lost because the bugs broke my defenses and it was a fair and square L, but this was complete BS... you gamble when you start a game and just hope you dont get an earth quake on your base during your run. why would anyone put in 14+ hours on a run where you are excelling in expanding and defending just to lose to a random earth quake?!? i am not sure if its a bug or if thats how they intended the earth quakes to work but either way it ruined this game for me. I am more than willing to change my review if this is fixed because everything else about this game is absolutely amazing but you put so much time into a game for it to be ruined by a random earth quake that you have no defense from.

Edit: While yes i was tired after a 14h play session i was not out of it enough to not be there repairing all my building as they were damaged. The simple fact is that they just disappeared while i was in the midst of them continuously repairing the damage. In addition i was far enough along that i had five separate bases but at this point in the campaign the waves are very large you simply cant build back enough to defend the subsequent waves.<

Its hard to believe that game developers can be so dumb and bite the hand that feeds them... You saw what happened when EA called all their customers "biggots" and "sexist" because they dont like this forced "progressive" agenda. I really liked CA but i wont support this forced ideology from anyone.

probably my favorite dawn of war game. My first video game ever was Dawn of War 1 and this one just blew it out of the water. I couldn't recomend it enough!!
