autumn is when the spirits leave their bodies to roam the earth, leaving behind their corpses to prosper the new life of the new year. it is in this time of year the spirits roam the earth freely. we celebrate their passing, and the life they bring in the new spirits we will meet in the spring, who will walk with us in the next autumn.
