I bought this in a 90% off deal, but it is definitely not worth the money.
Start is just pain and end is too easy. Feels unfinished. Considering this game was funded by $50k on kickstarter and now sells for $30 is mad. On top of that the game has been abandoned by the devs, as it seems. Ending is just purely unfinished. I've tried to follow the storyline, but the plot and the ending itself is so bad. Until the very last second you have no idea what the whole thing has been about and then BAM, end.

The bunker you get is absolutely useless. You can't build there, you can't do anything other than farm veggies in there. The quest with the fella that got locked inside the arcade... I mean I hope it was worth the $1k..
You need to farm absurd amount of animals to get to bow or you have to be very lucky on the item drops. Once you level up your character, it becomes crazy easy to farm anything, because all you need to farm are animals. I spent over 4 hours just hunting (and even that sucks, because you can't catch rabbits or deer. So you have to resort to hunting wolves or pigs). Then just easily upgrade your workbench and congrats, now you can farm thousands of wood/ore per run, craft yourself steel gear and from that point on, you're pretty much invincible if you don't just stand in combat. The progression is just not thought of properly.
The end kinda lets you explore a bit in a general direction, but it is quite frustrating, because at that point you either wanna continue with the story OR you wanna find special resources to upgrade your workbench. I didn't find those extra resources. At least not enough of them to do a single upgrade.
The inventory management is bad as well. While you get a bunch of extra slots of stuff to carry around in your shelter and workbench, you actually never know in advance what are you going to need. So you carry food, heals and whatever you find inside buildings just fills the rest of your inventory. Then when it's time to pull out something you've been saving in your wb/shelter, you can't put them down.
And the ending is just weird. There's so much mystery about the project that caused the mutants to be there and then it's just bam bro, it's a teleport. I guess there might be multiple endings, because the UI in the end room was showing some resources I could recognize, so maybe you could stabilize the teleporter or whatever, but again, at that point I just wanted to be done with it and even tho I probably had ALL the resources with me, THEY WERE IN THE WB AND I COULDN'T PLACE IT DOWN. And in the end, I just died. Floating in limbo. Then the game ended. I didn't even get to see some rooms in the bunker, I didn't get to go back, I didn't get to explore more. There was a warning, but my dear.

Not worth the money atm.
Mage combat is only about stagger and low dps while allies are not able to see through your spells, your spells even get triggered on them - if they stand in between your target and you, you're not hitting your target, but your friend.
'Getting bronze tools' era is just bad because wolves are everywhere and if you don't start combat at range as mage, you will be running for your gear for hours because there is no counterplay - this is actually the case until the endgame. You don't do damage as mage and if something gets to close range ur done for or run for ages.
My archer friend had similar issues.
Melee seems to be the best way to go (and it is currently the only spec somewhat implemented)
Building would be nice with 90 degree snapping and more building blocks like proper half walls, etc. Not just scaled down versions.
Roof and coverage requirement is bad
Farming is completely missing - you gotta run and run to farm herbs for potions and food
Utility magic is very cool, but I'd expect more

Group questing is nonexistent
'You're being hunted' mechanic should not exist and triggers in the most unfortunate of times
Base raids are not balanced at all, enemies just wreck your base while being lvl 1-2. If you come a little late and fight them inside your base, say goodbye to a bunch of foundations or whatever is placed on them

'Special' gear from dungeons is just cosmetic to the iron era gear. Why bother
'Last boss' mechanic is just horror, prepot and gg
Dragon spits on your base even when you beat him
