Cata had just escaped a brutal match in Dead by Daylight, heart pounding, blood points stacking. He queued up again, confident, focused—until the screen froze. Then: "Easy Anti-Cheat has detected a violation." Kicked. Confused, he rebooted. The game wouldn’t launch. He checked his email and his heart sank: Banned.

No warning. No explanation. Just gone.

Cata doesn’t cheat. He doesn’t even mod. The worst thing running on his PC was some RGB lighting software and a Spotify playlist. He sent tickets, screenshots, logs—begging for a review. Behaviour blamed EAC. EAC ghosted him with robotic replies: “Ban upheld.”

He’d spent years in that game—grinding for cosmetics, mastering killers, building loadouts. All of it deleted in a blink by an automated system with no appeal, no soul.

For days he sat in disbelief, watching others play a game he loved but could no longer trust. EAC didn’t just ban his account—they killed his joy.
