Fun but exceptionally short (a single map, which I beat in 5 minutes). Art style is awesome. Would love to see some value-add features like time challenges added. Chill scavenger game. My kids saw me playing tonight and joined in, was fun.

Drill Core is a highly polished mining game with a fun defender phase that even includes some cool boss battles. Can get a tad repetitive at times but it's fun and has a great sense of humour.

Frostpunk 2 is an exceptional game, just don't go in expecting a continuation of the original. It's focus on expansion rather than survival and offers a very different gaming experience. Still awesome.

Edge of Sanity is a quality Lovecraft-themed sidescroller. Doesn't break any new ground but it's high quality - looks great, well-written, plenty of action. Embrace the trauma.

If you're a fan of nostalgic adventure games, check out Crimson Diamond. It leans very heavily on Laura Bow (one of my favourite adventure games from the time) for inspiration.

A murder mystery presented faithfully as a graphic adventure with text parser in gloriously garish EGA colours. A touch tedious at times but has an interesting story & characters, well-written.

I've had my eye on Hackshot for a long time now and finally got a chance to play. Like a slingshot but control gravity, mass, bounciness- if you have the points for it. It's a lot of fun- and gets better the further in you get as new mechanics keep opening up.

Hackshot is an interesting hacking-themed puzzle game built on slingshot mechanics. The puzzle is in resource management and careful shot planning to beat a range of obstacles. It's thoughtful and fun. It's a puzzle game at heart but its hybrid nature will attract other players for sure.

Orbs of Chaos is an unusual game with an innovative spell combination system that vaguely reminds me of Jewel Master on Sega. UI & controls need a little work but it's only just released in EA. Game itself is solid. Interesting bullet hell/heaven hybrid.

Micro Star Command is an exceptionally modern take on the old Caesar's Legion puzzle. Features great graphics, formations, good range of upgrades. It's a hard game but has lots of difficulty options.

Micro Star Command is a fast-paced, frantic race for dominion against frequently overwhelming enemies. A range of unlockable formations and upgrades allow experimentation with different strategies. Requires fast reflexes & thinking. Great game if you're up for a challenge.

Boardgame fans, check out Demon Loop. It released ago and is anything but what I expected, full of strange mechanics and quests (it's fun though).

Demon Loop is an interesting digital boardgame with lots of unusual mechanics but it all somehow works. Levels are challenge-based which is fun. Also has a nice little story to tie it all together.

I'm loving CyberRush. It's like a bizarre modern take on the old Tomy Racing Turbo dashboard game I grew up with as a kid except with guns, police, even a boss battle. I grew up with but with a cool cyberpunk setting, jumps, horizontal-moving obstacles, even a Wanted system and combat with police. Only 8 levels but very challenging and also has an endless mode. Addictive! It's a tough game - I haven't made it to the boss fight yet!
