Jack Morehart's Kiloton released a week or so again and it's a cool game. I love the concept and aesthetic. My only complaint is the level objectives are weirdly unclear. I'd love to see more puzzle-based challenges but it's still fun to play. Didn't get a chance to try multiplayer but I think that's where Kiloton will shine the brightest.

SNØ is a downhill skiing game that kinda reminds me of that old SkiFree game but with much nicer graphics and a perspective that lets you play for tricks. Features endless, score, and zen modes, which is nice. Love the day/night & different weather effects too. Mountains are randomised but you can save the ones you like which is awesome. Tricks are only one button but I love the parachute feature. Go for the high score!

Chertovica is a strong FPS with some great retro visuals and smooth, fast-paced gameplay. Well-designed levels, action-packed, decent variety of weapons and enemies. Love the Slovak mythology flavour.

Playground features only the one map this time but it's larger and packed full of 200 cats to find! Well, some of those cats are chicken and fish. Awesome map. Also features interactive hidey-holes!

Keep Driving is a challenging management sim with driving-themed turn-based combat and challenges. Features engaging characters, some absolutely gorgeous pixel art, and a great soundtrack.

Welcome Back, Commander is a turn-based tactical/survival game for the hardcore fans. It's shorter but more replayable than other Chromosome Evil games with roguelike elements. Still very challenging.

I'm not normally a huge fan of idler games but every now and then one sneaks up and amazes me. If you're a fan of idler or Sims-style games, My Little Life is a heck of a lot of fun. Well-designed with tons of micro-challenges to keep you engaged. My Little Life is like a side-view Sims game, except built to be an idler, and featuring absolutely adorable micro pixel graphics. Excellent range of furniture & decorations. It's addictive

Cat Detective: Albert Wilde is a quirky noir parody game by @beyond_hills. It's a visual novel essentially, although the story's mostly told through first person perspective & cutscenes. Some of the characters look & sound a bit weird but it's a good looking game overall. Some of the writing could use a little work but it definitely has its funny moments.

Mekkablood ain't perfect - it can be visually repetitive and the interface is a bit wonky - but it is fast-paced, action-packed, and full of attitude. Each new level is more fun than the last.

I've recently revisited a previously-reviewed title, Fate of Fire: Kyvedy Guardiah. While the review was negative at release, it has since experienced a number of hefty updates and is much improved. Still needs a bit more love to reach potential but it's fun now.

Kyvedy Guardiah is an ARPG full of lore and a simple gameplay loop but a range of different classes and mission types to play with as you explore the tower. Combat's simplistic but can be challenging.
