This game is decent if all you're interested in is the world, lore, and questing. The game's world is amazing, and there's hours upon hours of quests to get through, if you're into that sort of thing.
I say I don't recommend it because once you realize doing anything more than exploring and questing ends up being quite a struggle, interest in sticking with the game tends to fade fast, in my personal experience.

The cash shop appears fair enough until you play for a while, then you realize how predatory it really is. Most of the things in it are cosmetic, which is fine, but they constantly use FOMO (fear of missing out) to try to coerce players into buying things, and most of the more interesting stuff they place behind their crate gacha/gambling system.

The game is pretty much impossible to play without paying for the monthly subscription. Sure, you can do it, but if you want to have any bank/inv space (the game floods your inventory with numerous crafting materials you can store in a separate bag with the paid service), or play any of the dlc without shelling out a good amount of money to buy it all, you won't be able to fully enjoy the game as a long term player.

Several aspects of the game are only really accessible if you are able to join and maintain membership in a successful guild. You are unable to sell items to other players in game unless you are in one of the big trading guilds, most of the end game dungeon and raid content is closed off to people who don't have serious guilds to run content with, as the public group finder for this content has a long history of being difficult to work with or downright broken.

On top of all this, the game has several long standing bugs and glitches that affect gameplay, and the devs of this game seem like they're always too busy pumping out new dlc and cash shop gambling cosmetics to spend the time/resources to fix them.

They will even sell things in their cash shop that are directly affected by these bugs, an example being the "personalities" that they sell, which changes the style of your character's walk, jog and sprint animations in-game. What they don't tell you is you won't see these animations under certain circumstances, such as if you use a keyboard to move and don't have the mid range of movement speed that a controller offers, or if you build too much movement speed on your character these animations will break and not play at all, even though you've paid to have them.

This is one example, but there are numerous bugs and glitches that stay in the game for long periods of time, and it just seems really unprofessional to me, as this game is run by a big company that should have the resources to fix stuff like this. Just dumb stuff like animation bugs, weapons getting stuck in your hands, clipping into the floor when you try to sheathe them, it's really immersion breaking and it's been one of the major things that put me off of playing this game for any real length of time.

I have played this game for a while and while there are things I like about it, I also have a lot of problems with it, and I won't seriously recommend it to people as a good MMO experience. I would suggest playing this if you want to experience more of the Elder Scrolls world and lore, or if you like running around and doing quests for NPCs.

Early Access Review
A great game that offers common gameplay aspects that we all know in creative and interesting ways. Very polished for an early access game. Very deep and rich in content for what's finished so far. The building system is great, the combat system is challenging but rewarding, and feels pretty solid.
My only issues with the game is the insane scaling on enemies with more than 2-3 players, the game gets far too difficult when sometimes players are packed into tight dungeon corridors where only 1 or 2 players can reasonably take on enemies that are scaled up to 10 players, and then when you go from that to playing the game solo it feels like it's too easy.
The death penalty is really harsh, maybe too harsh for a game that becomes so difficult at points, but that's what makes the game brutal I guess. I just don't appreciate being one shot, when I have appropriate armor and food buffs on, and losing so many levels.
The combat is very side to side directional, but it's not very easy to attack things below or above you, multiple times it's been so difficult to even hit an enemy because it is slightly too far up or down an incline from melee range.
The multiplayer is pretty stable until you have 7-10 people on a server, then you can start to notice some lag and desync.
All of these complaints are possible to work around, but they're just the things I've noticed in my time playing. Overall I feel very good about the game, I enjoyed playing it a lot and I'm really interested to follow where they go with it.

Single player? Fine. Multiplayer? Rockstar is one of the worst game publishers ever. They make good games that they treat like crap. Bugs, hacking, zero customer support, changing core game mechanics to screw over players and get them to pay more money. I spent MONTHS playing this game locked out of one of the core gameplay roles, with no help from support, ticket after ticket, because they botched up one of their twitch promotions. I can't go ONE session of playing this game without running into some game breaking bug or issue, and I NEVER have. The last straw is now they change the daily mission system they've had for years so that players get MUCH LESS rewards, in order to encourage us to buy more gold. RDO is the red headed stepchild that will always have more potential but will always be shoved into the dirt by Rockstar. One of the best wild west games I've ever played, but no matter how casually you play, you will be screwed over by the company that runs this game.

You'll hear stuff about the RNG and the grind in this game. But the truth is, its got fun core gameplay, and that's what keeps people coming back to Warframe. They're always adding new stuff, and they have the best cash shop of any game I've ever played. Its fairly priced, you always know what you are getting, and pretty much everything you can earn in game instead of buying. The devs and community have their ups and downs, but one thing you can be sure of is that they are all very passionate about this game.
I always skimmed over Warframe, thinking "what could some weird space ninja shooter game have to offer me?". But after friends convinced me to try it about 2 years ago.. I've been a dedicated player of the game ever since. I realized its not just some shooter. All the weapons are unique, and there's melee combat as well. The parkour is fun and incorporates into the gameplay nicely. The maps are varied and huge, there's things to explore, collect, build. A ship to customize. Guilds to join and help build a base with. There's pvp if you're into that, though its not one of the main focused things in this game. Its more about co-op, which is perfect for me. There is an entire universe full of lore, backing up a story that spans across several quest lines, which they are adding to each year. One of the quests in particular offered me what might be one of the most touching moments I've ever had in a game's storyline.
Warframe is special in a way where it stops becoming something you play and more of something you are. You begin to feel comfortable in your frames, and aboard your ship. The people you play alongside become your allies, and around you the world of the game feels alive and ongoing.
Its also nice in the sense that it does not require you to play. If you're feeling some Warframe that day, you can get on and everything will be as you left it. You can get into the game and run a few missions, play a few matches, and when you're done, you can log off, and it will remain.
I believe Warframe is the kind of game that has something for everyone, if they have the time to take a look and find it.

The main focuses of the game are exploring and being social with other players. If you like doing those things in games, and/or you've enjoyed any of the other Shelter games, I'd say this is definitely worth a buy.
The art style takes some getting used to, but once you do you can see a sort of beauty in the landscapes. Controls, as in other Shelter games are a bit awkward and hard to use at first, but you learn to get yourself pointed where you need to be after some practice.
The game throws you in without much of a tutorial atm, so if you haven't read too much into the store page, or any guides or anything, you start with kind of a loss of what to do. If you wander around a bit, players will usually come over and offer to run around with you and you can start to pick up on game mechanics.
There's not a whole super lot to do in the game. I don't know how much they're planning on changing or adding, but right now all you can do is team up with other players and run around finding obelisk things, which give you new animals, skins, and emotes. And find some flowers and stuff. It is enjoyable though, learning to stick together and communicate with your companions without typing, just actions, animal calls and emotes.
I own a few of the other Shelter games, so I started with some animals that I don't think you can obtain if you haven't bought the games. I dunno if that was the wisest choice, since it seems like a move to try and get people to buy their other games.. but it makes a little bit of sense I guess. You can certainly play the game without owning any of the others though, it just depends on if you want an animal that comes with another game or not.
All in all I'd definitely recommend it if these types of games are your thing, and for 3 bucks its not a bad deal at all. I've already spent a good couple of enjoyable hours in game, and I find it relaxing, so I plan on playing some more when I need some down time.

Early Access Review
7 Days To Die is the zombie game that I've always wanted. It really feels like it touches on all the bases of what an apocalyptic survival game should be. It has combat, survival, crafting and building, exploring and looting. And depending on your playstyle, there are many different ways to play the game.
Personally, I've always played the game either solo or on a server with friends, so I cannot speak for massive multiplayer/pvp servers. But for my purposes the game has always felt like its played really well.
The game is still in an early stage, but even so its been very fun to play. Over the year or so I've had the game its been through many updates, and every new version adds many new features and fixes. 7 Days To Die is one of the few games I can really say I've felt I've watched grow tremendously during the time I've had it. The Devs really do a good job with moving forward, they communicate with the playerbase and are always keeping us updated on what they're working on.
The only real downside to it being early access, besides the expected bugs, is that it is a bit oddly optimized. My comptuer isn't really terrible or spectacular, more in the middle, and I have friends who can barely run the game and friends who have few issues. But personally I do get some fps issues, especially during certain moments in gameplay and in certain areas of the game. However, despite this I still am able to enjoy the game, and I understand its part of the early access process.
If you're going to pick the game up I'd strongly suggest reading up on the crafting and game mechanics a bit first. I went into it blind and although it was fun, it would have been nice to understand a few things, like how to proceed past a certain point in crafting (certain things were locked behind books that we never found), and the 7 day mechanic. Newer versions are always changing things, so its good to keep yourself updated at this stage of the game's development.
All in all, this is one game I've felt was well worth the money I spent on it. I've had good times playing, and every new version I'll start up a new game with my friends and do another playthrough. I think when they finally get done with it, it will be a very good game. In the meantime I do reccomend picking it up and giving it a go if you enjoy zombie survival/crafting games.
