I absolutely love this game...

I happened upon this game just perusing through the steam store, looking for a relatively cheap world building game, and because I am a sucker for all things fantasy based I decided to give it a shot. Before I knew it, five hours had passed in a blink of an eye and I was thoroughly submersed in all the options I had at my fingertips; figuring out the most efficient way to keep my people happy, keeping the flow of resources coming, and how to best protect my poor villagers from the onslaughts of vikings and dragons. The art style is adorable, and easy on the eyes - making for a VERY binge-able game. The best part of it all is that the developers are very active, constantly finding new, welcome additions to the game and keeping it running as smooth as possible.

_____

PROs:
- Beautiful art style and building models that lead to fantastic screenshots.
- Lots of in-game building options.
- Active developers who are actively improving on the game's foundations.
- Learning curve is simple for beginners, but enough to where veterans can still challenge themselves with each new build.

CONs:

At the moment I cannot think of any because its been a few months since I last played, but I will definitely update as I continue my journey through the most recent updates. There were a few things I took issue with the last time I played, like how resources were stored between stockpiles, especially with the docks and transportation between islands, but a recent update has seemed to fix that issue, however I will not comment on it until I have had a chance to play.

_____

All in all, for the price-point, you can't go wrong. The game is still young and I can't wait to see what the developers continue to do in improving it.

9/10 would play again.
