DayZ mod was the best game of all time. DayZ Standalone is great but not at that level as of now. Maybe it never will be as the developers rushed the 1.0 release by cutting insane amounts of content. Hopefully the modders can save the game.

UPDATE: The hopes of helis, functional vehicles, etc has been completely thrown out the window. Standalone is nothing but a shadow of its former self, the mod. The lack of endgame content is what stands out the most. I can't recommend it to anyone anymore. DayZ is nothing more than a cash grab where Bohemia slapped on the DayZ title because of Dean's successful mod. It's so far away from what it's suppose to be.

Tried the game on its free weekend. The game itself is OKAY in comparison to the rest of the Call Of Duty games. The multiplayer is decent but nothing compared to the previous games in the franschise; MW2, BO1, BO2, etc. However, the PC port is absolutely horrid. If you're interested in this game, BUY IT FOR XBOX OR PS4! Furthermore, the player count just isn't there on PC. I had issues finding games even on primetime while its free weekend was active...

This game combined with the DayZ mod is undoubtedly the best gaming experience ever. Nothing beats crawling around in Cherno being to scared for the zombies :D

Tried the game on the free weekend, tried installing DLC, tried everything, didn't work. Updates from the developers can't solve the issue either, just don't download/purchase the game.

10/10 would rate again.
