If you're a fan of any type of racing game, you should find a decent amount of fun from this. It is early access at the moment, but there is still enough content to keep you happy for several hours, especially the multiplayer. The updates are fairly frequent, and quite substantial.
The racing is very much in the vein of previous Flatout games, with cars having a very satisfying heavy, solid handling. There is also quite a unique (and sometimes hilarious) damage system, with high levels of deformation meaning by the end of a tough race, you may just be driving a twisted lump of metal with two wheels.
Even if you aren't a racing game fan, and just like to smash stuff up, Next Car Game is sure to put at least one big smile on your face.

This game may be over ten years old now, but if you ask me, it still holds up brilliantly today. Easy(ish!) to learn, difficult to master. Peppered with the best in-game encyclopedia this side of Mass Effect, a fantastic selection of community-created content, and you get to live out history pretty much exactly the way you want to. What's not to like? :) Before Civ 3, strategy games were boring. Well, hold onto your hats, because this re-writes the whole damn rule book. Enjoy!
