I'm not sure if I'll ever beat this game, because my girlfriend has me stop playing if I get even slightly angry. And this game makes me angry all the time . But I will say that, despite not getting very far (only the first island), it's one of the more enjoyable gaming experiences I've had in the past year. Would definitely recommend to witness the art style alone.

Early Access Review
Really cool expansion of Verdun. Same type of game, but instead of a back-and-forth-type of trench warfare present in Verdun, it's a sort of dynamic present in Domination gamemodes in games like Call of Duty or Battlefield. Still some back-and-forth, but not as linear and, for this reason, may or may not be as desirable compared to Verdun. Still a load of fun and definitely worth buying if you're looking for a more realistic shooter experience.

Really fun game, especially for co-op. Tons of thinks to unlock and has lots of replay value. Good for casual play if you don't want to figure out what character is best with what skills etc etc.

Burdened with the old-hat cliche "a good game but not a good Fallout game", this has to be one of my favorite installments in the entire franchises. It's really not worth drinking the "this game sucks go by NV" kool-aid when this game fully expands on elements that other games lacked, even if 4 has its own limitations. The modding community is very strong and, like most other Bethesda games, bringing mods into your playthroughs really makes a difference, and you can make this game whatever you want it to be.

Played 2 hours worth of my iTunes library on this game before I realized it's more than just riding the soundwaves of your favorite songs, but it's also an arcade style strategy-puzzle game with an extensive global leaderboard.

And I suck at it.

But I did very much enjoy my first 2 hours of innocence before feeling like an absolute loser. 10/10 would cry again.

All in all, really cool game, would definitely recommend.

Truly an amazing game. Large servers with cool people, and the gameplay is spectacular. Choices of gamemodes for people who want a little bit of everything that the game has to offer, being able to play as multiple squad-types from different countries with an endless array of weapons. You've got free for all, team deathmatch, squad defence against endless waves of bots trying to take your trenches, and the most popular, total trench warfare.

The thousands of other reviews tell one single truth: this game will make you angry. And in the midst of this anger, you will find great satisfaction when you shoot an enemy after you have died countless times. Your KDR will suck. Your will to play will dwindle. It's one of those games where you'll have very good rounds and very bad rounds. But you will definitely have fun, and better yet, this game comes to consoles August 30, so the amount of players will only grow.

Worth every cent, and is one of the greatest games I've ever played. Based off gameplay I've seen, this game trumps Battlefield 1 in terms of gameplay, community, and overall design.

10/10

10/10

Often times you'll hear that this game is dead, and although that may be true for Overkill/Starbreeze, it is not the truth for Payday 2's online community.

The game has an incredible amount of replay value, and while it looks like a grind that leads to nowhere, the amount of content and amount of customization doesn't give it that feel. It's a commitment if you want to take it seriously, but it's also a good game to pass time with friends.

One complaint is that the difficulty scaling is pretty predictable, that enemies don't get smarter, they just get more health and do crazy damage at higher levels.

An amazing story in an addictive platformer. Definitely one of the best.
