Papers, Please, is one of the best games I have ever played. It is such an amazingly simple concept executed perfectly.
I have replayed the story countless times despite having achieved all possible endings and receiving all the coins you can get from the NPC characters, just because the gameplay is far and away the most unique. 10+ years on I'm sure I will revisit it over and over again just to have this amazingly unique and fun experience. If ANYONE happens to come across this review wondering if they should purchase this game, I can absolutely say with my 100% honest opinion yes. I hardly EVER review games but this game really deserves a standing ovation. The story is impeccable, the style is charming and at times gruesome, dark, and dingy. And the fact that the developer put so many endings in the game gives it immense replayability. I'm not a huge fan of the endless modes, but if you just can't keep yourself from stamping away at endless waves of migrant passports; they're definitely a great time killer.

I wish I didn't buy it but now I'm stuck with it. Very underwhelming.
