I've been playing total miner since 2011, and I can safely say this game is great IF you spend the time to learn the mechanics.

Here's a list of my favorite in game features that I recommend looking into if you want to get the full experience:
- Marker blocks (Let's you mark areas for creative commands like filling that area with blocks, clearing/erasing the area, and several other commands with them.)

- Copy/Paste (Using the marker blocks, you can save your creations in folders and paste them in your world/other worlds. Pretty neat to have a collection of buildings, trees, etc. at the ready.)

- Scripts (The ability to code your own game using a pretty easy to learn coding language, but the more time you mess with them, the more advanced things you can create)

Starting with those will give you an idea of how powerful this game is, and just how much it's not your typical "Minecraft Clone".
