An all time classic

Extraordinary valor and exceptional performance of duties

Oodles of character, super funny and a fantastic roguelike deckbuilder.

The combat is super reminiscent of into the breach, but way more polished. Carefully positioning your ship and managing your shield and energy is a great core mechanic, and the great selection of unique card effects keeps it fun and interesting. I like that you have a limited crew, and who you bring will change which cards and themes can appear.

The default difficulty is very approachable, but I managed to get a win without taking hull damage on my first run so I'm glad to see some more brutal options available too. Each stretch of the map is pretty concise, the event locations have been the highlights so far. My Slay the spire strategy was always to hit as many question marks and elites as possible to really mess up my build, and I haven't been disappointed here.

Its definitely possible to go infinite, lots of ways to gain energy and cycle your cards. Looking forward to some game breaking runs, glad its a little bit encouraged.

Bullet heaven (like vampire survivors), but every upgrade feels super powerful and transformative. Very few bloat upgrades like "+2% move speed" so every level up feels more powerful than the last.

New updates are dropping often, so it's still developing, but there is plenty of content for the price.
