I think it's very good, but its like so unbalanced.
I keep getting stuck at places and I literally have to google to progress. ( like finding the key to the Raya Lucaria Academy was just... ) They're not very generous with the runes, some mobs in more difficult zones still gives 300 runes so I constantly feel like im underleveled and I feel like I have to find a cheese spot to grind on because just playing normally is not efficient at all. I also hate the tomb/dungeons with a passion. Absolute clown fiesta level design with the rolling traps. You can avoid them and progress for 10 min but if you ♥♥♥♥ up once you'll have to start all over again and jesus christ just give us a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ checkpoint like wtf.
Literally a running sim. I hate the boss draconic tree sentinel its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unenjoyable to play against. I feel like a lot of bosses doesn't have telegraphed attacks, they attack infront of you but hitbox is also behind them. And I feel like they did the progression so much better in DS3. This game makes me feel so wierd because I love it and hate it at the same time.

The VFX is really nice, magic looks super cool.
I've been doing the Ranni questline which has been pretty enjoyable and overall i've been enjoying the game.
But man some things are just super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unenjoyable and makes me want to play dark souls 3 instead.

Edit: After becoming a wiki-slut the game is enjoyable, I wanted to not get spoiled and just play it blind, but its so unenjoyable to do that since the questing is very vauge on where to go next. If I look up where to go on the wiki its way more fun. I think there's a charm to the vaugeness but i also feel like, i'd like to be able to play without looking up things constantly. And im not even like a new souls player, I played through DS2 and 3 but i still struggle with this idek.

JUST BUY THE FIRST GAME, REMASTERED WRATH OF THE WHITE WITCH IS SO GOOD.
I don't recommend buying this at full price.

Oliver and Drippy are irreplaceable, I have a hard time remembering the names of the main characters in this.
I feel no emotional connection to them at all. I want to love this game but I feel like the story was more solid and the combat more charming in wrath of the white witch. I miss having to do "defend" when you see bosses charging up attacks. I feel like there was a more thought put into the first game. Also the amazing fully animated cutscenes crafted by Studio Ghibli are missing in the newest title, and they made the first game so magical. I don't understand why they also skip straight to text dialogue half a second after you beat a boss. You don't feel rewarded for beating them. I realised the quests were stupid when i had to kill a dragon and raid a bandit camp for a library card.

JUST GET THE FIRST ONE REMASTERED, IT'S CHEAPER AND BETTER.

I've been reading through some of the stuff here and I've seen a lot of people doing negative reviews because of the developers. Now I wouldn't say that I'm fully aware of all the things they've done, but I'd still like to express how I feel.

First I wanna talk about the micro transactions.
Is it pay for convinience and how much do the clothing help?
I was actually quite suprised that a lot of people complain about this, I've been running around in a white t-shirt during most of my playtime. And I've never felt like I've been in a serious disadvantage. Most of the time you'll have trees etc as cover. And your clothing won't really decide if you put a bullet between his eyes or not.

And the fact that I haven't really been bothered is because you pretty much get money to buy clothes for playing the game. Those Gamescon crates went for like 2 euros while they were available. I think I've been able to get like 18 euros total from just playing pubg, and the camo clothes do not go for a lot of money. You can literally buy a black t-shirt for 0,05 and a pair of black jeans for 0,06 £. The most expensive clothing that you can buy on the market is the infamous mini skirt, and that isn't more camoflagued than those 0,06 £ pants.

Yes, bluehole has been banning people for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ reasons.
Streamsniping is obviously a problem and I can't say they're doing a perfect job of preventing streamsniping by banning people who have literally no clue that they killed a streamer. But the thing is, the people that have been banned have been able to contact the developers and gotten themselfes UNBANNED. They're not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and if you do get banned for no reason whatsoever don't just get mad and quit. Contact them and tell them what happened politely and hopefully you'll get unbanned.

Lastly, I've read about people complaining that there's too many "try hards". And they gave negative reviews because they never win. And I'm sorry to tell you, but the sole purpose of this game is to win. The ONLY objective is to be the last one standing. If you can't win because you're not good enough, don't expect the developers to make it easier for you.
You can't bring your halfassed gameplay and expect to win. This is battleroyale, and if you're too casual to even compete with the rest of the community.

Overall I think this game is great. YES it has bugs, YES it does crash. But the majority of the games I've played it's been working and It's most definately playable. I get around 40 - 70 fps on the lowest graphics with it being on 55 - 65 on average. I've been experiencing very few crashes, i've seen some of my friends crash sometimes but they have been able to come back in without any problems. The core gameplay is great! It feels super rewarding to get kills.
Veichles are fun to drift around in and winning is not impossible.

I really like PUBG and I rate it: 9/10
