Fantastic game, although *much* shorter than the first title; I was able to finish the whole thing in a weekend, although I greatly enjoyed my time with it.

I've been playing Duelyst for about 3 months now, ever since Scrolls closed.

The game is great; one of the better digital card games I've played. Card design and art direction could use some work, but the sprite art is absolutely gorgeous. Gameplay is extremely well designed, although contains a decent amount of RNG (less than Hearthstone, thankfully). Matches unfold more like a strategy game than a card game.

Progression could be better as the game is somewhat grindy, but rewards are plentiful. Crates are something of a shrug until a natural way of acquiring keys is added (the devs have stated this was planned).

The most important part: the developers are constantly adjusting things, and introducing new cards. They have a full fledged streamer program, where you can register for streamer rewards (items for giveaways, and even fiscal rewards). One of the most interesting parts of the developer support is that each month they introduce four new cards. These are often fan cards, or based on media such as PennyArcade; some cards were named after popular streamers, such as The Scientist, or Grincher.

If you're looking for a long-term card game, this is a great game to dive into.
