Exploration is great, there's so many items and biomes in the game that's interesting. The bosses are pretty linear and cool too.

If there's criticism from me, it's the fact that standard mode is too easy, particularly feeling like it's creative mode. Hard mode is not any more difficult than Standard. The bosses are just fatter, I think, so there's not much of a challenge. Maybe if you took away the map, the waypoints, and added more complexity to the boss fights like an area debuff, it'd be harder.

I feel like there's also no point in caring for Cattle other than having them as decorations for your base. Other than the fishing buff from turtles giving fishing/crop bonuses, the rest doesn't seem to be that useful. Food buffs made from Fish and Crops are enough.

I wish the Cattle had better use. Like, you'd be unable to destroy a certain wall unless you used explosives made from gunpowder (which comes from camels). Or the carapace from the bugs can be used as a substitute to repair/reinforce. Etc. Just my take anyway.

As a completionist, it's absolutely annoying how this game doesn't have a way for your to find unidentified animals/plants/minerals. I spent 2-4 hours going round a planet actively looking for that last mineral. spent many more hours doing the same thing to different planets. It's always left me extremely disappointed and unsatisfied. If you guys can add some kind of Exploration Guild that sells information about unidentified specimens or give a scanner module have the ability to locate them, that would be great.

Another thing, I rage quit so much just by trying to build my base like you can't imagine. Maybe I've been spoiled by other games when it comes to the smooth af building interface or maybe its legitimately crap that I have to zoom tf out to space before I can snap a frickin floor to another floor. I'm thinking it's the latter, so yall should work on that too.

And another thing. Your expeditions are cool, but the thing that dampened it immediately? All those frickin people's base and communications icons everywhere. You can't get rid of them. My space immersion was totally ruined by all these people's icons. I hover my mouse over a planet or a moon and I can't see crap because some guy's colony is there blocking it. I looked for a couple hours, for a moon that's needed in a mission, only to find that it was blocked by some guy's base named "Lucky Loui's Lube Lodge". If I hadn't spent those wasted hours, I would even find that base name funny. Yall need some kind of built-in filter for these things because it's causing a very bad experience for me.

Resolution won't fit my monitor. Some bug, I guess, but I'm unable to play because when I go fullscreen the cursor won't align to what im clicking and when I try windowed, it wont even go on windowed mode, it's still in fullscreen with ridiculous UI buttons that are hidden due to the resolution being too big for my monitor.

Getting guns, buildings, utilities, etc. are too much of a gamble. I kind of wish the buildings you can build over mines wouldn't be lumped in with the gamba, so you can actually build a defense zone for yourself indefinitely (and not only when the gods of luck blesses you).
Also:
* When you kill a small melee mob, the game doesn't recognize that it's dead for a couple of seconds so you end up being stopped by an invisible tiny wall for a time, which sucks when you're trying to run.
* When you try to vacuum your utilities in the spider like the docking station, bombs, breaker, etc., you don't suck anything on your gun and it disables your drill/vacuum for a few seconds.
* The range indicator for the leg stomp isn't as big as it shows, so you don't get hit despite in the area.
* The yellow slime meteor does the opposite which can hit you even though you're out of its range, same with the exploding squids. The explosion doesn't look like it hits you, but it hits you.

I don't think the devs are focusing on the PC version of this game. While it's more convenient to use a keyboard for doing red and blue stars, there are features from the mobile version that isn't in the Steam version; i.e. You can't use salvage all artifacts in the Research Station. It can also be janky at times, because at some point, my module window got stuck after I dragged it up the top and I wasn't able to see the progress bar to interact with the mod I was upgrading. I had to close the game to get it to return the way it was. Edit: I just realized the last patch was from November 2023, so yeah Steam version prolly left to rot now.

I havent even started playing the game and the patching is already giving me a frickin hard time with the screen resolution. Then 13 hours after patching, when I get into the game, resolution still won't let me fix it. Now I'm stuck with huge frickin UI settings and even when I reset it, it won't let me reapply new ones where in I can start playing this gods be darned game. I don't normally do reviews, but bloody frickin hell, working with the display setting has me cursing hard and I'll have to get a breather before I continue on tinkering with this thing so I can play. Btw, I couldn't even close the game with Alt+F4 or the X button and because of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ display settings I couldn't close it within the game. I had to frickin go to Task Manager and close it. It was like it was taunting me to uninstall it immediately. Wtf man. What The Frickin Frack.

I thought I wasn't going to be scared of this game. It's pixel art and it's a top down horror survival. But man, I am SO WRONG. The atmosphere was just freaking perfect to scare the bejeezus outta me. Love the soundtrack. Love the gameplay. Love the art. Best horror game I've played in a long time.

Great game story-wise. Love the pixel art and how the characters differ from each other. One thing though, somehow the more I play the game, the easier the bosses are. Would be better if devs fixed that. I had more trouble with roaming than defeating the bosses. At one time, I even thought that defeating the spider boss was harder than one of the later bosses in the game. Still a pretty good game to me though.
