A pretty good arcadey fps to kill time. You can also customize the lobby setting to tune it to suit your personal preference.

However, i wish there would be a "Quick Join" button where people can just jump into random lobby. That way, chances of people's lobby get filled would increase instead of just the top few one that is lucky enough to get enough player to get pushed to top of the server list.

One of those time where i wish there's a maybe button for a review.

This game can be fun. The gameplay-loop consist of:
- Spawn in, gather basic loot and firearm from nearby towns
- Do missions, take on AI patrols for loot
- Stash loot and money at the safe zone
- Buy food and supplies, get better gear
- Rinse and repeat

If you're into a combat focused looter survival game, this game might be for you.

However, as it stand atm, the game is basically walking simulator. The map is pretty big and vast, yet there's barely anything you can do in the wild (which is the majority part of the map). All of your supply need and tools you get from either looting towns (which is scattered and very far in between sometimes), AI you sometimes encounter in the wild, or doing mission and use the profit to buy stuff in the trader.

On top of that, there's no mean to travel these vast big open area full of nothing as the time of this review.

I would only recommend this game if you're fine with having to spend the majority of the time walking, and maybe if you can get some friends to play this with. If not, i'd say wait until the day they introduce cars or any other mean of travel.

Going Medieval is a Rimworld-eque colony sim game with Medieval theme and its own twist added to the formula, especially with the Verticality aspect of the building.

Its in a pretty good state already atm, however the game can be a bit too easy on the survival aspect for now. Its very easy to farm some crops and trees to get food and wood. And the enemy can't handle moat or trenches too well, so its very easy to repel them if you do so.

However, if you love building and designing bases and defenses that doesn't rely on exploiting the game weakness, i think you'll love this as the building aspect is pretty extensive even at it current state. Building need some support or else they could collapse. There's temp system altho a bit janky which you have to manage.

Honestly, being able to build and design your own castle has always been a thing id love to play. And hopefully the dev will add even more feature and options in the future.

- Bullet Sponge brain dead AI? check.
- Extraction Camping? check.
- Bullet Sponge late game enemy? check.
- Uninspired weapon? check.

honestly, not a game i would recommend.
Gun play was promising at first, until the bullet sponge starts kicking in. Not to mention the gun just feels.. meh. It does feels as if you are shooting nerfgun instead of an actual one.

The game also punish you for making mistakes very harshly, as you can barely keep up with the enemy if you don't grind the level fast. But unlike in other BR where if you make mistake, die, and able to move on to a new round, in this game you are kinda forced to play it to the bitter end because you respawn.

The looting feels awful. nothing exciting.

The survival element of the game is basically another meter you have to keep an eye out. It's very shallow and easy to overcome. So what's left is just a mechanic that exist to slightly annoy you, that's it.

honestly i had more fun playing apex legend or the cycle, go check those 2 out instead.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a missed opportunity. It could have been an amazing game and tbh that was what i thought im getting into when i got the game. However, that is not the case and i would never recommend the game. Unless you are a fan of Cyberpunk, but even then only get it on a massive discount. Also, there are so many fundamental problems i have with the game that i dont think any ammount of patch update or DLCs would turn the game to what it should have been; immersive open world action game set in Cyberpunk universe.

The main thing im most disapointed about is how the false marketing of the game would make you believe that you are getting a next-gen, immersive and living open world game. That couldn't be further from the truth. There's nothing in the game that's immersive when you roam around the world. You can't make any notable interraction with the generic pedes NPC. You can't chill in a bar, enjoying a virtual drink or smoke a vir cigar. You can't immersive yourself watching a believable market with NPCs doing their daily routine because those things didn't exist.

Cyberpunk 2077 world is like a cardboard cutout of a pretty scenery. It does looks pretty good on a still frame or from a distance, but once you get close enough, you'll notice how shallow, flat, and immersion breaking it actually is. now Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an example id use as an immersive open world game.

As for the game itself, its not a next gen game. It feels passable as a AA shooter and that's about it. Story is pretty good.

Very damn fun to play with some lads. Single player can feel a bit grindy and challenging at times but once you get the hang of things it's not as bad. And for an Early Access, there's enough content that can give you plenty of playtime easily.

Tho game atm is geared more towards PvE than PvP so there's that, so only play with a trusted group of people.

Honestly, i had fun playing this game. Yes sometimes matchmake is inbalanced, yes there are classes that seems OP perma stun. but if you play your unit right, you can take down even the higher level players using your unit as distraction support. And most of the time you will be playing with other players anyway and not 1v1, so chances are, if there are higher tier enemy, there will probably also higher tier ally on your team. use it to your advantage.

And hey, it's free to play. If you like dynasty warrior meets warband-ish game, you will probably enjoy this one. I'd recommend to give it a try.

PS: i only exclusively play the siege battle only so far and the occasional coop expedition (or whatever it's called). i haven't touch the more end game clan stuff nor have any interest to do so. so the experience i describe here might be differ for those part, idk.

Review Update

Originally i already reviewed it within this game's first launch week. Then, i didn't recommend the game simply because of server issues and little content. So, how's the game has been since then and how's the developer handling this game so far?

While there's now slightly more content in terms of cosmetic and the upcoming Season 2 which will brings new modes and stuff, the rest of the game is still a buggy mess. In fact, there's more problem now than it was.

- Cheaters running rampant because there's no anti cheat measurement to this day yet
- In game name is disabled completely and everyone get some generic number instead because afaik the dev aren't competent enough to implement basic name filter to blocked inappropriate, weird names and fonts
- Server is still having issues to this day
- Some game mode is still indeed trash
- Menu still is sluggish
- Patch notes only fix some bugs and added QoL improvement that should've been in the game in the first place, while there's still no news regarding the other major issues.

The devs handle feedbacks very slowly and poorly so far. Honestly, the only hope left at this point is that the dev would finally hire some more competent devs into the team to deal with the issues and implement any sort of anti cheat already with all those sales money.

Conclusion: at the end of the day, despite the game is a buggy mess, it still has a very good concept at its core. I can't recommend this game since i barely have any hope left for the dev, but i suppose if you dont really mind the issues, this game is fun. I wouldn't be surprised if one day there will be more of this sort of games in the future. Hopefully, this time around, these devs would actually give a poop about player feedbacks.

Broken, buggy mess. Connectivity issues and buggy, sluggish ui. Fun Fact: the exit button can sometimes disappear. Only thing that make this fun is playing with friends.

But again, anything can be fun with some friends; even taking a dump.
