Early Access Review
One of the best roguelikes I have ever played. There are so many ways to play this game, you could turn off permadeath and just play it like a dungeon crawler. You could roleplay as a specific kind of character. You could just try to take a ridiculous number of detrimental mutations and try to survive. Just an almost infinitely expansive world that feels immersive on every level (even the music sets the mood rather well), a game that you can lose hours in.

This game is legitimately one of the best FMV games made. Actual cinematography, good acting by most of the main characters, extremely well made practical effects, as well as suprisingly progressive for a horror game made in the mid-90s. It almost feels like watching a well made B horror movie.

Cons, ironically is the gameplay, where locations are bizarrely arranged and hard to navigate, as well as the atrocious final puzzle of the game. Still, this game is an experience that isn't too difficult to play and for the most part, stitches together scenes very well.

Really, really good. It's the end of a wild ride in the form of 3 video games in the Zero Escape series, and there's really no game quite like it. Instead of the visual novel portions of the other two games, this game uses 3D cinematics. If you think it's too slow don't worry, you can switch on subtitles and skip through text. Puzzles are very high quality as well, you get the "ah ha!" factor when finishing them. The story, in my opinion, ties up most loose ends from the previous two games, as well as leaving some room for you to speculate about certain elements.

Cons: One or two puzzles are convoluted and the cutscenes might be a bit lacking in quality sometimes, but they are minor cons, as the rest of the puzzles and the great voice acting and writing makes up for it.
