The devs just put a bunch of big names in a house so we could drool over them. Taper your expectations.

This isn't a true dating sim. It's a parody of a dating sim. It's a strange mix of characters who have huge issues and only having surface level interactions with all of them. It's very much a "catch them all" type of game.

Also, play with a guide or you'll put hours into the game and get locked out of character routes and never be able to unlock them (Timmy). That fact alone pissed me off enough to leave this review.

Romance lite, friendship and story focused, a little bit of grind, fun potion mechanic. Overall, a good game. I found it to be fun and cozy, just wishing there was more to it.

*Friendship events, the events around town and regarding each character story makes the town feel more alive! Love this feature.
*Only 3 friendship bars before max
*Moonclove as a standard gift for everyone. Takes away stress of tracking loved items and keeps me from having to give up valuable materials as gifts.
*Potion mechanic was interesting and well done! Like that I could set my own recipes after crafting a few times.
*Sign post teleportation was really convenient!

*More clothing options
*Marriage option
*Unique relationship dialogue and interactions (hug, kiss, hand hold, etc.)
*Seasons with seasonal foraging items and fish
*Seasonal events or festivals to participate in
*Townsfolk/PC Birthdays
*A mount or a way to move faster

Addictive. The creators pay homage to Harvest Moon (Story of Seasons). It's like Stardew Valley meets Story of Seasons in all the best ways. At first I was overwhelmed by the amount of stuff to do, but quickly got into the groove of things. I LOVE the diving mechanic and merfolk--it really adds a lot to the usual farming, mining, fishing, ranching, romance, repeat. The romance candidates are well designed and I'm grateful to see lots of older candidates to choose from. If you're feeling bored/stuck with other farming sims, this is a breath of fresh air!

Almost 250 hours in and I'm still discovering more wonderful things about this game, Beautiful story and characters with seemingly endless role play options. This has quickly become one of my top 3 games of all time.
