A very polished and well-made simulator. Not sure if it is 'next-gen' because I haven't played any current-gen flight games, but the graphics do look phenomenal.

Now, many of the negative reviews here have to do with the performance. I'm running it on a 2080 and Ryzen 7 2700 on a 3440x1440 monitor, and I never had any game-breaking problems whatsoever aside from minor stuttering when loading big airports. Sure, the frame rate is pretty low (50-60 mid-flight, 20-30 in big cities and airports), but you have to know this is one of those games that doesn't really require a high FPS because most scenes are pretty static and not particularly motion-intense. The game is perfectly enjoyable for me at 30 FPS or even lower. So, my advice, turn off the FPS counter and just enjoy the beautiful sceneries.

"Is the world as detailed as the game advertised?" is another question you might ask. In general, yes. But really, it depends. Some parts of the world are stunningly beautiful and realistic whereas others are less impressive. Certain localities, for example some major cities, famous attractions, landmarks, etc, are clearly handcrafted and manually modelled, and when you fly over them it's truly amazing. Other places are, however, more generic and simply generated from satellite images. Can you see you house? I couldn't...Well, I could see a house at that location, but it was not my house but just a generic 3D house model. Another example, if you go to the Giza Pyramids and land right next to it, you can see it's highly-detailed to the point even individual bricks are 3D modelled, but right next to it the buildings of Cairo are really low-quality. Also, the game covers the entire world, so there certainly are graphic bugs and such. The other day I was flying over London, and saw half of the parliament building submerged in the Thames river.

As a complete noob in flight sim, I can't say much about how good the simulation side of the game is. I haven't flown any of the big airliners yet, but I've been flying the Cessna Grand Caravan for quite some time, and I think I'm managing it pretty well. One thing I do want to bring up is that the in-game tutorial is garbage. It teaches you things that you don't need a tutorial for, such as how to turn left and right and up and down, and how to increase and decrease speed. I mean...come on. I spent a lot of time doing research on my own, reading manuals, asking questions in the forum to figure out things like autopilot, mixture control, IFR flying, approach mode, radio configuration and all that, which the tutorial touches nothing on.

This is a pure 'simulator' so there is no game in this unlike, say, Euro Truck Simulator series where there is a progression system and a career mode. There are some activities like landing challenges, but otherwise you just make you own flight plan and fly, basically.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with FS 2020, definitely worth the price in my opinion.

Two things made me quit playing this utter pile of garbage after mere 30 minutes:

1. Horrible, horrible car control. The driving is bad even for an arcade racing game. You drift by tapping the throttle button. Yeah, you hear me right. You tap the throttle and you are drifting. Never mind braking at the right moment, never mind steering properly, and all that. In fact, if you brake and turn, you car would just like freeze, as if it's glued to the track.

2. The awful characters you get to choose from. Well ... What fine specimens of human beings in 2020. ♥♥♥ off.

Already had my expectation very very low and yet still managed to get disappointed. It's like they are not even trying... Hey EA, you are better than this, must try harder next time, ok sunshine?

Waiting for my refund. Have fun guys.

This is one of those games that look good, sound good, play well, and are in the end enjoyable but require a long attention span and from time to time you have to push yourself to play through some of the boring or confusing parts of the story to reach the good bits...

State of Mind is an interactive drama that plays like a hybrid of Detroit: Become Human and Quantum Break. Gameplay is what you'd expect of any walking simulator (i.e. walking around, talking to people, interacting with objects), with occasional puzzles to solve and other mechanics like drone flying, basic shooting, etc.

The best part of the game - for me - is the graphic design and the music. It's absolutely phenomenal, one of the best I've seen in capturing that futuristic vibe. Sometime I would just stay in my apartment, turn on the music, and just look around thinking 'wow I wish I had an apartment like this'. The interior design in this game is just very atmospheric and aesthetically pleasing.

The story is good but complicated... It's about some family matters that are intertwined with a world-changing conspiracy that has to do with virtual reality. I'd say overall it's a very well-written story with engaging plots and lots of mysteries to discover. The first two hours are pretty boring though, and that's where I almost decided to put this aside. Then after that when the story unfolds, it gets very interesting... until about 6 or 7 hours, which is another point where I almost gave up because there were just too much information presented to you and too many questions unanswered. Fortunately, it's got a great ending that tied everything together and you ended up having to make some difficult choices, which is always good thing in narrative-driven games like this. The epilogue (of my ending at least) is a little too brief... I would like to know more about what the world and my family is like after the finale.

Overall, it's a pretty decent story game that looks and sounds great but just requires a little bit of patience for it to really shine. Recommended.

This is why I don't get these 'relaxing' puzzle games. How is this supposed to be relaxing when you are stuck in a stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ puzzle where the solution is right there and you are just too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thick to see it and you just start yelling at your monitor and calling the developers all names under the sun?! How is that 'relaxing'?! It agitates you and totally destroys the purpose of a 'relaxing' game ffs! After two hours, all I was thinking was how can I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ burn these wildflowers to ashes and dump them into a giant trash site, and that's when I stopped playing. 100% positive reviews? ♥♥♥♥ right off! 6.99 for this piece of ♥♥♥♥? I'd rather give it to a hobo on the street and buy him a nice meal than to the developer who inflicted the gaming industry with this. And we all know what kind of people these games cater for - probably a vegan, who does yoga and meditates and pointless things like that, who's probably a liberal, environmentalist, animal activist, and all that. If you are like that, yeah go and buy this, and enjoy you 'relaxation'.

Einfach großartig! Great game to play while waiting for CP2077. If you are into cyberpunk, neon-lit urban skylines, synthwave music, dystopian society, and all that, I can't think of a reason why you wouldn't enjoy this. The immersion of flying your little 'HOVA' through the skyscrappers in this vast and amazingly crafted futuristic city of Nivalis is just insane. Plus, if you have a headset, definitely try this in VR. I finished the second half of the game using VorpX and it totally transformed the experience.

It's got a decent story with roughly 10hrs of main campaign and plenty side contents/lores to discover. Gameplay mainly consists of you driving your vehicle to make deliveries to various locations in Nivalis and a lot of dialogues with NPCs. It is repetitive but the city skylines and the music never gets old. There is a little bit of progression in the form of upgrading your HOVA and apartment but it's nothing to write home about.

Now, a couple of things I'd like to see improved. First, the camera. The fixed camera position while you are on foot doesn't work well, especially when you are at certain corners where you are going in one direction but the perspective suddenly shifts so you are actually going backwards and then you just go back and forth... Fix that or better yet, just make a 3rd person camera. That'd be awesome. Also, I'd like to have a map of the entire city (showing which part is on top of or below which) and not just the layer I'm in. It would help players get a better feeling of the city layout, because without that I sometimes feel like I'm just blindly following the navpoint all the time not knowing where I'm actually going. A bit more flyable verticality in each layer would also be good.

So, I'm very happy with this. One of the best I've played in this genre. Go and get it.

Wow, didn't expect a 15-20 hour campaign in this. Really enjoyed it. The story is engaging and very artfully presented. I got the 'bad' ending apparently but I heard the other ending isn't that happy either...

The survival elements are, for someone like me who's not quite the connoisseur of survival games, spot on - not so harsh that it becomes frustrating, but at the same time still challenging enough that 'surviving' never becomes trivial.

Overall it feels very polished with beautiful graphics and ambient sound and gorgeous cinematic scenes. Nice game to play during the quarantine. Recommended.

For regular players, this game is characterised by three things:

1. Extremely repetitive gameplay loop. You fight battles, get money and loot, recruit more soldiers, fight bigger battles, get more loot and maybe a castle, fight bigger battles, ad nauseam.
2. Bugged and broken like you've never seen. Literally I couldn't play this game for a straight hour without crashing (on a rig well above the recommended specs). Slightly improved in recent patches, but with old bugs gone more new bugs come.
3. Empty of any contents. The campaign and the quests in this game are an insult to gamer. They may as well just scratch it off completely. Don't tell me that questing is not the point of the game. For a 50$ game and if they put them in, they should at least have some standards, and this is just a slap in your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ face.

For deluded fanboys, this game is of course:

The best game ever created under the sun and anyone who cannot appreciate it is to be condemned to hell.

While I'm on it, the community of M&B is pretty toxic. Dare you say anything negative in the forum about the game or the dev, which you are totally entitled to for a near full price title, everybody is bashing you and throwing 'oH, iT's eArLY aCceSs, it's aLpHA, bEtA, gaMma, dELtA....' at you. Seriously, just wake up ffs.

It's astonishing how gaming industry has fallen to such states where people now have to PAY a full price tag to be a beta-tester, something which you would GET PAID to do not too long ago, and yet fanboys are defending this kind of malign business practices and pointing their fingers at any criticiser while giving all the good wills to the dev - 'Take your time. We can wait for another decade or two. That's fine' 'Charge me AAA price and deliver whatever you can. That's quite alright' 'Give me bug-ridden pre-Alpha stuff. We'll do the QA for you and pay you money'...

Demanding any quality or standard in an early access game is now 'being entitled' apparently. Imagine a future world where every game comes out as a messed up early access like this and a finished product is all but a luxury. Wouldn't that just be great, eh?

First, this game should come with a hazard warning. I've already broken a controller thank ♥♥♥ and had myself nearly smashed into my kitchen wall playing this. It's that immersive and adrenaline pumping. I've actually decided not to play this game until I can expand my play area because otherwise there won't be anything unbroken in my room before long.

Second, be prepared to face the hidden devil in you, because this game will bring out the worst of you. I don't care if you are a little white bunny or a fluffy little kitten, this game will turn you into a blood-thirst mindless man-slaughtering monster. That feeling of grabbing someone's head and stabbing his chest with a dagger in your hand or cutting someone's leg right off with one single sword slash is ... disturbingly satisfying. When you are in that setting, you just couldn't help but enjoy killing people and hearing the sound of your sword piercing their body and the blood bursting out. There's something about it. Maybe it activates the reptilian part of your brain or something.

The game is pretty bare-bones at the moment (even after a year and a half in EA), with 4 'sandbox' maps where you can fight waves after waves of AI enemies using different weapons (and one spell). That's it. Zero story, quest, progression. Nothing. So, don't expect anything beyond a basic VR gladiator simulation for now.

For future development, I would suggest adding sex, drugs, alcohol and gambling into this game, and making it the best all-round debauchery simulator with a bit of RPG elements and a light storyline. Just imagine that: You are a gladiator in Rome or a medieval mercenary, having just slain your enemies in an epic battle with their blood fresh on your hands, and then get drunk at the local tavern and have a blast with a wench of your choosing. Oh yeah, give me some of that.

Still a fun game in its current shape though. I doubt you would get very many hours from it, but it's worth the price just for the VR combat experience.

Too little to justify a full AAA price tag. The only two reasons why you might want to buy this: 1) the immersion of playing this during an actual pandemic and 2) Jill's a smoking hot chick. Other than those, it just feels like a DLC of RE2, with the exact same game mechanics, UI, graphics, zombie models, and even part of the map. My biggest gripe is the the boss fights, which are just ridiculous in this game. I was laughing half of the time. It's more like playing hide and seek with your daft big brother than fighting a horrible monster. The boss just moves in such erratic ways I was always like 'mate where are you going I'm here'. It's to the point that the game feels comical at times. Not a good sign for a horror game.

A delightful little game. Simple, lighthearted, unpretentious. Something you'd finish in one sitting on a weekend afternoon with a nice cup of tea.
