Soulless...is perhaps an appropriate word to sum up my experience with this game. FC 5 is like one of those shiny, glamorous, good-looking lasses. You got infatuated the moment you saw her, had a blast with her for a few hours or days, and then realized how empty and mind numbingly boring she is. Yeah, that is FC 5. Great first impression. Probably one of the best graphics I've ever seen in this generation. The sound, the control, and the gunplay all felt top-notch. But the actual gameplay loop is just shallow as a puddle. Doing the same repetitive uninspiring stuff ALL THE TIME. I won't bother you with the details, but basically you are just shooting everybody. That's it. Such waste to this beautiful and detailed map.

But the bigger problem is the story and immersion. The story is so far fetched and full of nonsense it seems funny and comical at times, even though the game tries so hard to put up a serious tone. It's ridiculous. Immersion is completely lacking. I never even for one second felt like I was saving the county from an evil cult. I don't feel connected with any of the characters in the game. I literally couldn't care less about them, don't even know what most of them are called. They are just so bland and uninteresting. It's like interacting with life-like robots, whose sole purpose is to dispense quests and information to you. They feel like NPCs in an MMO, to put in a way.

Lifeless and soulless. I'll stop here.

(BUT, if you are just looking for some eye candies, or a showcase of modern gaming graphics, or just a GTA-like shooting experience, yeah get it, at sale. At twenty bucks at the moment, it's alright.)

I don't have any siblings in real life, but I did feel like I had a little brother whom I cared and loved in this game. Brilliant story and character development. Absolutely fantastic graphics and art style. Hands down best game played so far this year. I wonder what EA, Ubisoft, Bethesda, and all these 'AAA' publishers would feel when they see this game. Humble and shame I hope.

Had high hope for this game, but yet again another brilliant idea delivered poorly.

People say the graphics look good. No, they don't. The game admittedly has all those beautiful scenery, but overall it feels very CHEAP and FAKE. It's hard to explain in words, but something must be off with the engine, and in particular in the antialiasing and the lighting departments. If you've ever played a modern AAA game with real good graphics, you'll understand what I'm saying. This game, in a sense, abuses those visual cues that would usually be perceived as pleasant or good looking, such as strong light sources, high contrast, blue sky, large green areas, shiny/bright colour palette, etc., to the point it just looks fake and uncomfortable. Saying this game looks good is like saying deep fried food or sweet snacks covered in sugar and butter taste good. They do I suppose, but in a most repulsive way.

The other aspects of the game really don't deserve many comments. Gameplay elements are minimal, comprising mostly taking screenshots (that's the 'painting' essentially), gathering junk, and doing fetch quests. Story is non-existent, and characters are bland and boring (and they are all animals for some reasons never explained to me)

The game just didn't deliver this aesthetically beautiful and artistically sophisticated, relaxing gaming experience that I expected. The vibe simply isn't there. It feels loud, gaudy, and overdone, like a children's book or your Christmas tree.

I hate and love this game at the same time.

I hate it for very obvious reasons: First, 99% of the time you are just WALKING, either following tracks, or looking for a track to follow, or just traversing the ginormous map to go to a lookout or an outpost or what have you. Second, the animals are freaking clever and extremely aware of their surroundings, which means if you suck at hunting like I do, you chance of even seeing wild life is pretty minuscule, let alone actually hunting them down.

But then I also love it so much because what is said above is exactly what you do when you go hunting in real life...at least based on my very limited hunting experience. Games are usually sparsely distributed in a vast area, and the wild animals all have extremely efficient survival skills that are polished through millions of years of natural selection. So, unless you know what you are doing, you should expect to go home empty handed. So in this sense, this is a highly realistic hunting simulator. Nothing arcady, just you, your gun, binocular, some lure and callers, and the mother nature. You have many upgrade options for your weapons and other equipment, and you will encounter games that are more and more difficult to hunt as you progress in the game. As mentioned above, the animals have pretty good AI and are very alert to sounds, smell, and they can see you way further than you can see them, so stealth and patience is key in this. The gunshot is also quite well done. The goal is always to take one deadly shot that deals maximal damage to your target, so you need to know where the heart, the lung, and other organs are, and which bones are soft or hard, etc.

If you are a hardcore hunting enthusiast, then these should probably be sufficient already to persuade you to buy the game. But if you are absolutely sh!te at hunting, like me, then you can still get the game, and play it as "the Tourist: Call of the Camera". Yes, the game has some of the best graphics I've ever seen. I actually wonder how this is not on any of these 'best looking games' lists, because the natural scenery and landscape in this game is stunningly gorgeous. So, at some point in the game, I just gave up hunting, and started wandering about and taking pictures. As I said, the map is HUGE, and there are five of them, spreading across several continents.

So, how can I not recommend this? Whether you are a true hunter or a casual tourist like me, you'll have a good time in this game.

A highly polished visual novel. Great artstyle and soundtracks. I probably enjoyed the arts and the music more than the story itself, which is good by all means but a little bit obscured and at some points hard to follow. My ending is quite sad, I think. Many people have died, out of treachery and bad fortune, who I assume could've ended up much better had I made my choices differently. Anyways, it's a good game. Recommended.

Pretty underwhelming if I may say. You would think a game that revolves around sex and horror should be quite 'exciting' and make your adrenaline level go off the chart, for obvious reasons. Well...not really. There're very few elements of horror in this aside from two or three cheap jump scares, which are done pretty poorly... The sexual bits are limited to a few obscene objects (like sculptures or piles of flesh in sexual positions) and the looming story background of a sex cult. Frankly, I was expecting something more... lustful and dark I suppose as the name of the game suggests. The gameplay is a combination of light puzzle solving, sneaking around, and looking for pathways essentially. The usual things you'd find in a walking simulator. The story is quite lackluster and very predictable, but overall okay. It's short, at around 2 hours long, and has little replay value.

So, there you go, a quite bland and unimpressive game which could have been far better.

P.S. I should say that it is 'bland' only compared to what the game seems to suggest and what I had expected. Obviously, this IS a game with sexual, gory, and other adult-themed elements.

"A 2D adventure game in which the player explores strange worlds created with merely 6 digits" .............. My goodness. I feel it's my duty as an avid gamer to debunk this utter piece of lie.

Firstly, "2D adventure". There's NOTHING in this game that can be remotely related to the word 'adventure'. I'm not daft. This is a five buck game, so I'm not expecting big huge maps with challenging enemies or things like. But this game literally has nothing to offer. No story, no enemy, no combat, no choices, no talking. The entire gameplay revolves around you clicking on your screen and picking stuff up hoping it can be used somewhere else to help you escape. Then you have those silly puzzles. You know the kind... find an axe, cut the tree, use the wood to build, or water the plant, pick the flower, feed the rabbit, and blah blah blah. Adventure? Honestly?

Next "explores strange worlds". Hahahahah, how DARE they call these microscopic maps 'worlds'? Calling it a map is even an exaggeration. They are literally just as big as the screenshots you see on the store page. Yes, each of those is an entire 'world'. You walk to the edge, then you go to another 'world'. Are you serious?!

Next "created with merely 6 digits". When I saw this I thought that some clever procedural algorithms were used so that you have 10 to the 6 power amount of different worlds available... Silly me. You have about 10 to 20 of those microscopic worlds. That's it. It takes about half an hour to visit them all, and after that you'll just see them again and again and again, until you went mental or you decided to refund the game, whichever comes first.

I'd rant a lot more had it not been priced at a relatively modest price of 5 dollars. Do yourself a favour. Don't buy it. Buy a big mac or taco or something. You'll find your money much better spent.

I never thought I'd play another RE game after the traumatizing experience I had in RE:7 VR... Honestly, I'm way too easily scared to actually enjoy a horror game, and plus zombies aren't really my thing. Never quite understood how they became such a popular theme in the first place. But hey, I had a blast with RE:2. Playing it is stressful and nerve-wracking, and I still don't understand why I put myself through it, but I had to say this is overall a very refined and polished survival horror experience, and if you are a fan of this genre or franchise (which I'm not..) you'll most likely love it.

So, how scary is it? Well, for the record, I chickened out and chose the easier difficulty (shame on me -.-), so for me it was actually not as scary as I had prepared for, but still it got me good quite a few times.. probably also just because I'm so sh!te and that just balanced out the easy difficulty level. Anyway, it feels more survival and shooting than horror for me.

Then we have the puzzles. They are (thankfully) quite easy, and most of them just involves finding and collecting objects and installing them (or using them in some way) in the correct place. But of course, you'll have to deal with zombies and whatnots in the proccess of solving these puzzles, and that is the name of the game essentially.

My favourity aspect is the scarcity of the resource and your extremely limited inventory space, and that's obviously the core of the survival elements in this, as in previous titles. You really have to think what to take and what to throw away and make most use of what you have at hand, which is a lot of fun. Again, I'm so sh!te at scavenging stuff that by the time I beat the game I still only had a handgun and a granade launcher, so your mileage may vary...

On the technical side, this game looks AMAZING. I mean the graphics obviously. The actual things you are looking at are of course some of the ugliest and most horrifying zombies you'll ever see. But the graphics are gorgeous - lighting, texture, facial animation, gores, and everything. And it runs like a dream, I ran it with 2080 on a 3440x1440 monitor with pretty much everything on the highest setting and 120% scaling, and it can maintain at about 70-80 fps, which is pretty good if you ask me.

So, I had great fun with this, and I guess the verdict is if you are remotely interested in the survival horror genre you can't afford missing this one.

This game reminds me of why I got into VR in the first place. Absolutely phenomenal. Extremely original and creative gameplay that maximizes and takes full advantage of what virtual reality can do. Some of the mechanics are just jaw dropping, really. I don't want to spoil anything, but I can say for sure there will be more than a few times in the game when you'll just go 'wow' and have your mouth wide open. It has its fair share of bugs and the whole game felt a bit short (it took me 2 hours), but I think this game should be on anyone's VR essential list.

A bit of rant, if only half of the developers behind those moronic wave shooters and pedophilic girlfriend simulators that are dominating VR at the moment could have turned to creating something remotely as decent and genuine as this, virtual reality could have been a much more mainstream platform than what it is nowadays and we should have a lot more great titles in VR than what we have been fed up with so far.
