Decent story. Nice artwork. Great soundtrack.

I'd expect a bit more twist, but in general it's a fine-crafted narrative game.

This should be a pretty stupid game on paper, but somehow I had great fun with it... don't know why lol

P.S. I play in VR with wheels and pedal.

Masterpiece... easily one of the best in this genre.

The aesthetics and the sheer level of imagination of the creators are just mind-blowing. The methods of storytelling in this game are so diverse and immersive, and that's what it differs from other story-driven, walking simulator type of games.

It is short and linear though (2-3 hours), so I'd say the overall experience is more similar to an interactive movie than a game.

Absolutely recommmended!

An interesting interactive story

Well, to be honest, there is not much GAME in it. Even for a walking simulator, its gaming element is still scarce. What you do is basically walking around, investigating objects (with virtually no puzzle solving or whatsoever), and talking with a lady. The game is mostly linear, although you are free to wander off where you are told to go and explore the entire map.

The story is decent and engaging for the most part, but I have to say it kind of fell apart toward the end. The story builds up a very good atmosphere from the beginning and makes me genuinely curious about what has happened, but it ends up very disappointing and simply uninteresting.

The graphics is good and it runs well. I was told the audio was great; well, I'd say it's okay but not too impressive. The world is gorgeous and detailed, and I quite like its depiction of the wild national forest. Overall, I'd say it's been a very immersive experience.

Do I recommend it? Yes, if you like story-driven games/walking simulator with nice atmosphere and a beautiful map. If you are looking a GAME in a more traditional sense, then no, you will be absolutely diappointed.

Also worth mentioning is the price. I think 20 bucks is a bit too much for this game (considering you can finish it in about five hours and it has very little replay value), and I would not suggest buying it at full price. It's worth it probably for 10 bucks or below.

Just beat the game. Absolutely amazing experience.

It's not for everyone, but if you like story-driven, immersive, semi-cinematic games then I'd definitely recommend this one

Pros:
- Storytelling and the overall immersion is just great.
- Gorgeous graphics and aesthetics.
- Audio effects and voicing are fantastic.
- Very smooth and intuitive gameplay (albeit no tutorial, no hud, no map, etc.)

Cons:
- For some people the combat may feel a bit simple and basic (but it serves well for its purpose in the game, so it's not been a problem for me)
- Gameplay could feel slightly repetitive occassionally.

Overall, it's been a very impressive and emotional ten-hour experience as Senua and the story is one of the best I've ever seen. Definitely worth it.
