Cannot launch after next gen update 2. Clicked support and the webpage doesn't even load. Review will change when this is fixed

I was sceptical about this game in the beginning. I rode the "It's going to be bad" train. And I was right. I then forgot it existed. Recently as I've been watching The Internet Historian, I saw that this game was being worked on, and they didn't dash.

I saw how Sean Murray directed the hate towards himself, and I was once again interested.

I recently purchased the game during its last sale, and I am happy to say that I am enjoying it. This does not mean it doesn't have flaws. I will be getting into that now.


The game is gorgeous. I have a 1050ti, i5 and 12 gigs of ram this is important later. Even on the lowest settings, this game is truly gorgeous.
Everything feels unique. Genuinely speaking the whole vibe of this game amazes me. I've sunk about 15 hours in, and the options for your character are great in detail. You can even colour your generators if you feel like it, that is how personal this game can be. I haven't really focused on the story, however it has been a reason for a lot of pondering. There's a lot I wish I had the ability to say. The game is awe inspiring. The size of the universe in just inspiring, and the file size was so small? I am not sure how, but it is appreciated.


I have a 1050ti this is it. I have a fairly average PC for this day and age. I am well over the minimum threshold for the game. All my drivers are up to date, fan is on more than 35% for the air, however I cannot get above 60 frames on a planet. In space the frames pick up to 100+, however on a planet, entering atmosphere, docking into a space station, or pulse driving, I get about 18, with periodic drops to 0. I am not sure what's wrong there. With the "research" quick google search a lot of people have this issue.
I am not asking for 100 frames all the time, I am aware this game is procedurally generated, and I am aware that this may have an effect on the frames, however I think 18 fps is a little ridiculous.

Overall it's a good game, I enjoy it. Gives me down time, and I enjoy that.
