First of all, dont listen to any of the reviews on gameplay. Most of them are made by whiny children who cant stand to have their favorite toy be slightly less op or god forbid face a challange that their little fat atrophied legs cant run away from. Gameplay is great, best gameplay in years.

The game is alright

One of the least enjoyable games I have ever played. Would 100% recommend

I cannot in good conscience recommend squad. Its close to being good, but it falls short.

First, servers are a huge issue. Most servers with a decent ping have a permanent 10+ Que to get in. God forbid you want to join a server thats special like, like an invasion only. Bump that up to 20+. Even then there is a glitch that shows that you are stuck in que that hasnt changed, when in reality it skipped over your spot and just didnt tell you. Then assuming you do get into a server, theres a 40% chance you get kicked because the server closed connection.

Now put that aside, how about the game play. Well its fun, at least in theory. Squad is meant to be a slower paced hardcore shooter based on teamwork and combined arms, which is fine, in theory. Do you want to play armor? Well you have to wait for a new round to start to get a slot, which can be over an hour not including the que times, kicks, disconnects ect. Then you have to Be fast enough to be the first one to the tank/armor squad you want. You dont have a choice of team, map, or layer, so if you set out to play a specific vehicle. You will probably have to wait several hours if you can even get a spot at all. A good percentage of the time, a duo from a clan will instalock a squad and take whatever vehicle you want. Helis are similar, but not nearly as bad.
