Great game, victim of it's own success. Comes par for the course these days on game release (that does not excuse it, but it is expected). Dev teams however have been very transparent and are providing regular updates to the connectivity issues on Discord which is more than you can expect from larger studios.

Outside of the rough launch, the game is exceptionally fun, striking a middle-ground between the casual nature of Diablo 4 and the complexity and scope of Path of Exile. Perfect for a generation growing up as gamers who have adopted some Real-life dailies.

Crafting is not a bolt-on as it feels in most games but rather a core part of the gearing in this ARPG. A fun way to keep you involved in your gear drops as you'll rarely see the perfect item, but you can improve something to your tastes. I like it!

There is some end-game content missing though again, this is the case with many games and the fundamentals are there. There is a leaderboard and HC / solo play for challenges. End-game content and expansions can come.

Highly recommended.

Good fun, all infantry combat (unless you count calling in helos or the occasional take over of a technical).
Great when you have to mow down some AI after a long day, but they have some bite back (no health pickups, no reviving)

The two types of F2P micro transactions I'm okay with are for 1. Convenience and 2. Customisation.
It's not P2W, you can still go well without dropping any money on it, but prepare for a grind.

A worthy successor to the first game. Now with more depth!
Highly recommend.

Spiritual successor to M&B: Warband. Not fully fleshed out yet (can't found your own kingdom) but this is coming as mentioned by the devs. As this is early access that is understandable.

Additionally full mod support, though none made yet. Truth be told mods gave the original game life for over 10 years so I am quite happy to give this a positive review based on it's current state.

Just like the '96 classic!
