You can still wall in enemy base with sandbags in the first game. 10/10, just the way I like it.

This game makes you emotionally invested. That means that you will be salty as f when you lose and elated when you win. Fun and addictive.

People who review the game negatively because they are mad about Half Life 3 need something more than computer games in their life.

Cons:

Enemy factions are pretty bad except at colonizing planets.
Diplomacy very simplistic and ungratifying (very easy to avoid fighting).
Pirates seem to be the only powerful obstacle to victory on harder difficulties.
Still buggy, got a debug message and was unable to continue playing the game midway through my second playthrough.

Pros:

Interesting take on human start/backstory.
Despite all it's weaknesses it has it's charm.

I play a lot of idling games, but I find RuneScape: Idle Adventures frustrating. Too much meaningless text. The gameplay mechanic of fighting monsters is pretty badly implemented, it's neither interesting or something you can just idle through as it requires simple tasks that requires both a lot of time and some simple attention while keeping you from doing anything else in the game. As you have to kill several thousands just to finish the 2nd restart quest it takes forever just to get out of the beginning of the game.

Half of the game is pretty good and has potential, though the monster fighting is done so bad it really ruins the game.
