Self Esteem Fund is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ INSANE peak, but that's not to downplay the rest of the OST. Android Hell, Stop What You Are Doing, and Procedural Jiggle Bone have me feeling insanely bleak and hopeless. Portal OST is like DSBM for synth drone autists. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love it. I need Kelly Bailey and Valve to tie me to a chair and inject this ♥♥♥♥ into my veins. Listening isn't enough, I need to ♥♥♥♥ the music.

The Portal (and Half-Life 2) soundtracks are genuinely one of the best examples of the things you can do with the Roland JP-8000 (One of the main synthesizers Kelly Bailey used back in the day) that isn't just classic 90's-00's trance ♥♥♥♥. Roland's supersaw bended and contorted in ways to sound as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as possible.

Anyway, play Portal, music as loud as possible. Life-changing peak.

Valve's cursed yet beautiful bastard child of a game-- Valve's SSBM. They cobbled some ♥♥♥♥ together and took 2 maps from HL2 and modified them for deathmatch play. Literally the least amount of effort Valve has put into any standalone game, ever. But this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome.

Yeah, low-level play is fun for sure. But high-level play is crazy. HL2DM is filled with all sorts of Source Engine jank, and that allows for crazy physics and movement tech.

If you have experience with Quake, Team Fortress, or any other sort of fast-paced arena fps, you'll love this game. Especially on the higher levels of play. I can't recommend it enough.
