Performance
So first, I see all the negative reviews and most seem to focus on the bad performance.
I agree ARK:SA still has quite a few optimization issues, but they can be overcome with a few patches.
It works a lot better than ARK:SE used to at launch at any rate.

One tip though: If you have performance issues, try fiddling with plant settings.
Disabling the plant interactions allows me to play on high-epic graphics settings at decent frames.
But lowering the distance at which they are rendered helps a lot too obviously.

Looks
The game looks and feels amazing! The lighting is a bit bright though and I can't seem to solve it.
The creature and player animations are smoother and feel more natural.
The plants react to your movement now, but I feel like they need to fix the animations. They are way too jelly-like and I expect this is a cause of a lot of the performance issues.
Some models were updated, but at least the player model seems to have remained the same.
It's a massive improvement over the previous iteration either way. Even on the lower graphics settings.

Gameplay
The interface is much more intuitive, though it takes some getting used to.
The new character designer is a nice improvement as well. You can now make players look like humans!
The AI was much improved, animals feel more like animals.
I love the new building mechanics, though they could be polished a bit more.

Conclusion
I can't help but love ARK:SA dispite all the criticisms. The developers really seem to love their game.
Snail Games might have put a lot of pressure on the game releasing, but Wildcard seems to have managed it well.
Most negative reviews seem to stem from people being annoyed by Snail Games' chenanigans.
I agree that they don't seem like a very positive influence on the game, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the game.

TL;DR:
Performance isn't great, but will likely be fixed through patches. Looks amazing. Great gameplay improvements.

War Thunder used to be an amazing game, had a lot of fun back when.
Unfortunately the gameplay has been taking a step back in favor of greedy cashgrabs.

It's almost impossible for many to enjoy the game without spending lots of money.

With their greedy, and especially addictive financial practices, this game ruined several years of my actual real life.
I spent thousands of euros due to addiction on this game and I regret it deeply.

Never touching this game again, and I recommend everyone to do the same.

I crashlanded on an awful ball of deserts and sandstorms...

First I died of starvation, because I forgot to scavenge for food.
Then I died of an asteroid slamming into me.
I got lost in a maze and suffocated due to a lack of oxygen.
Ran out of water and died of thirst.
Then ironically, my base sank underwater.

Pretty planet now.

The mighty Aztec Empire is stuck in their routine of killing the natives of the Northern plains and Southern mountains. But then something unexpected happened: The Spanish Inquisition!
200 years later, Madrid and all of Southwestern Europe were part of the mighty Aztec Empire. Historical? Nope! But way more fun!

Paradox really delivers on their strategy games, I've enjoyed altering history on a grand scale in both Medieval times and the Renaissance but Europa Universalis 4 is probably the easiest to get into. If you're new in the grand strategy genre then this is the one to start with. If you get the hang of it and you enjoy it, feel free to check out their other games!

The company behind this game tends to permanently ban you for little to no reason but they only do so if you paid for the game already. They permanently scan any running processes on your computer and if there is anything that could or might be used for cheating, it's a permaban for you.

I got banned for using cheat engine on singleplayer games, even though it is incapable of hacking any sort of multiplayer games.

Don't spend any money on these scammers.

If you like both strategy and RPG games, or want to get into either, this is a must-have.

Crusader Kings II allows you to rule an entire dynasty through 700 years of history from the perspective of individual rulers.
It may sound like a regular strategy game, but just you wait until a rival ruler seduces your wife and daughters. This game becomes an RPG far quicker than you'd imagine.

Another truly immersive grand-strategy game from the Paradox Development Studio. The best one yet!
