THIS WAS AWESOME!!! The best installment since the original Modern Warfare.

I'll actually be playing through this again. I'm saying that for the first time since Modern Warfare.

The storyline is fantastic. It is so vastly different than any CoD before, or even any game or movie before -- it's really brilliant. Again, reminds me of how different Modern Warfare was. It's interesting, thought-provoking, and suprisingly believable (PS not killing off your entire main cast at the end for once certainly doesn't hurt ;)). Even how they integrated the training didn't feel like the forced "run through this training maze" like they've done in the past.

The graphics. Wow. This is the first game (ever, not just CoD) I've ever played where I actually couldn't figure out whether they were using CG or real-world actors on max settings. Everything from the texturing to the shadowing to the reflections to simply the extreme level of detail makes it insane. It's SO GOOD!!!

The abilities are so fun! The new grenade scheme is really sick. The boosts let you do some really fun things. The new target ID feature was great. It was also fun to use drones and use the exosuits.

There is a graphics driver bug, though :/ It seems that a number of people (including myself) have a problem where the game will blackscreen/have the video driver crash. Every hour or two I'd have to restart the game. As some people suggested, under-clocking my gpu by -10 or 20 seemed to help (you can download like the MSI Afterburner app and just change the number, hit apply, and you're done in like 5 seconds). Fortunately, the checkpoints were always nearby so I didn't lose any replay time.

Overall, 9/10, BUY IT! Mad props to Sledghammer/Activision for this title. It's everything I've ever wanted in a CoD game, and everything about it that I love. I can't wait for the next installment. And being able to say that has been a long time coming! :)
