Fun and addictive without being too Fortnite-y, just scratches an itch for me. No-brainer now that it's got good F2P.

Really addictive and fun to get into, extremely replayable, and makes rolling the dice on just trying to survive or playing the hero a really emotional intense and rewarding experience. Was surprised that me and half my family got really into it once we started smarter tactics and learning to keep alive. Highly recommended.

Everyone should have this. It's so easy to play, set up and even make your own board games. Easy to jump into, invite friends. I play games with friends and also develop my own board games and playtest them on here. Instead of having to make physical figurines I can create them on here in minutes, save whole setups-- it really speeds up the development process. And with so much workshop content and possibilities, you can do like anything on here. Also native VR support is just awesome.

Really fun game with huge ups and downs. If you ever thought Tarkov looked fun but too inaccessible, this may be for you. Strikes a good balance of managing stuff and necessary in-game knowledge and just being able to hop on and play. Losses aren't usually too damning, while victories feel glorious. Solid game even in Early Access and I'm excited for what comes next. I almost never buy games but I've been more than satisfied.

Very solid basic WW2 shooter, very accessible with enough depth to make it very replayable. (Officer + radio gunner teams are the best.) A lot like Day of Defeat/Source. If you like this, Insurgency: Sandstorm is similar with a lot more depth in weapon customization etc with modern guns..

Arguably one of the best Total Wars, and one of the more difficult ones. The map is more linear due to the shape of Japan, and the clan you pick determines a lot of the initial difficulty. If I had to recommend only one TW game, Shogun 2 would be it, or at least top 3. (Medieval 2 is best for beginners.)
