Truly a passion project, and it shows. I can't say of my adventures since I don't want to spoil it, but the depth and breadth of the game is astonishing. Well worth the price.

Has more than it's fair share of bugs, and feels like there is a lot of content that wasn't included in the game, but I'm having a damn good time none-the-less. So much to do, so much to see, so much to explore. I never fast travel anywhere because it's just so much more fun to drive everywhere and see what I can see. I have faith in CDPR that they will fix the bugs and give us the content that seems to be missing. And once they do, this will be an absolutely amazing game.

Early Access Review
Incredibly addicting. Pulled me in with the promise of advanced boat building and delivered. Spent three days working on a radar controller programmed entirely in lua for boats. Spent a week on a helicopter. Very detailed control systems. Would recommend.

Holy nutballs I loved this game. When I intially read the reviews I was a bit skeptical due to the apparent lack of borderlands-ey gameplay. And while admittedly it isn't a run and gun FPS, it's an amazing experience none the less. For $25 this game is definitely well worth it, and is even more enjoyable if you have played Borderlands 1, 2, or the Pre-Sequel, all of which I'm about to go replay!

Pros:
Characters are amazing and loveable
Soundtrack is great at times
Story is ever adapting and conforms to your choices*

Cons:
Slightly confusing UI and walk movement
Absolutely nothing Gamebreaking, sereiosuly, just go buy it.

*Interactions with characters and different events in the story happen differently based on how well other characters like you or whether or not you made some certain decisions earlier in the story. Really brings out just what kind of person you are!

tldr; 11/10 Please buy and play I have no one to rant to. Feel free to rant to me when you finish.

I'm going to start by saying that if you have played Far Cry 3 or 4, and expect the same sort of experience with Primal, don't. FCP is a wonderful, beautiful open-world game, but it strays away from the expected storylines of the previous games. Before, there was a clear main antagonist that you had to overcome, a bad guy that was wrecking your world. In FCP, the bad guy is nature. After playing for a little while I was suddenly hit with "I'm no longer at the top of the food chain.". When sabretooth tigers appeared, I ran. When Mammoths or Rhinos started to get frisky, I ran. Even when I encountered a pack of wolves, I ran. And I loved it. The thrill of whats around the next bend, of seeing the eyes of wolves glowing at the edge of your torchlight, waiting for it to go out, crouching in bushes, of finally bringing down your first mammoth, all are what keep me playing. FCP is a game about survival in a harsh, beautiful world.

Pros:
+Beautiful scenery
+The spear is spectacularly done
+The fire aspects are very well done
+The UI and HUD are well balanced and easy to access mid-battle

Cons:
-Combat is pretty repetetive
-Urki

Other:
I very much enjoy the man-vs-beast aspect of this game, maybe even more so than man-vs-man of the others games. While it still does retain two human 'enemies', they do not feel like the focus of the game at all. However this feature could swing either way for other people. It's a game about survival, and I think it hits that nail on the head pretty well.
Plus, the massive trees, frigid tundras, grassy plains, and shining marshes are amazing to wander through.

This game is not an action, intense, exciting, long game. It is a story. A story about a man and his sins, his tragedies. It is not meant to be played, but rather to be experienced.

Some games are more than games. This one is art.
