Even in 2023, this game is still fun and entertaining, has a few active multiplayer servers for several mods/expansions and STILL has mods that are being updated. Even after almost 4000 hours, I still find new and fun mods to play that put me into yet another interesting historical setting.

Buying this game for 30 euros back when it came out was probably the best money I ever spent and I can still wholeheartedly recommend getting it at the current price. Heck, I would pay 30 euros today if I could delete my memories and play through some of the amazing mods all over again.
