Short but entertaining. Definitely worth the $2.40!

The main mode's scale is really cool. The coloring a sector that is completed is also a nice touch. The bonus levels didn't seem as high quality of an image to me and were okay. A Building Full of Cats is still my favorite of the hidden cats genre.

A Charming Escape with a Stumble

Adorable visuals and a laid-back atmosphere make this game a delightful little diversion, but its brevity and uneven pacing hold it back from reaching its full potential.

The Good:

- Eye-catching visuals: The game's cute graphics are perfect for the theme.
- Relaxing gameplay: The game allows you to bit back and unwind with a stress-free linear experience.
- Intentionally short and sweet: Perfect for those seeking a quick and positive gaming experience.

The Not-So-Good:

- Uneven pacing: The game's short length combined with readily available resources can lead to a feeling of not needing to fully engage with all its mechanics. I had effectively unlimited resources early without needing to plant on every island.
- Missable achievements: There is an achievable that can be missed requiring you to play the game over again. Check the community guides for the achievement Find Poppy in a Cave .

Overall:

While not without its shortcomings, this game delivers on its promise of a charming and brief experience. If you're looking for a relaxing escape with adorable visuals, this might be the perfect game for you. Just be prepared for a quicker journey than usual.

I've made Start11 an essential addition to all my Windows computers. It delivers on its promises with seamless execution, doing precisely what you expect. One standout feature is the intuitive grouping of pinned applications, allowing for a well-organized desktop. The ability to sort similar items and the customizable taskbar transparency further enhance the overall user experience.

I absolutely love Start11 and consider it a must-have utility for Windows users. However, when choosing where to acquire it, I strongly advise against the Steam version. The Steam version falls short in a few aspects. Not only does it lag behind in updates (this is in addition to the v1.X and 2.0) but I've also observed disparities between the Steam and Stardock versions. Notably, the absence of a custom icon for the middle-aligned Windows button is a notable difference.

So, yes Start11 is amazing, but don't get it on here.

CS:GO Review
CS:GO is a fantastic game and it will forever hold a place in my heart. I have played Counter-Strike since I was a wee one and played more competitively (I still sucked) as an adult. I even met my girlfriend while playing a ranked match, somehow. It is without any doubt a very entertaining and deep game to play. However, it saddens me that I would never recommend this game to anyone, especially women. Like many other competitive games, CS:GO suffers from an incredibly toxic community. Paid platforms (Faceit/ESEA) are still toxic with no support from staff, despite vivid proof that policies have been blatantly breached. The competitive play is fun but rampant with hackers. I recommend playing Valorant over CS:GO merely because of the less toxic community and ability to use voice comms if you are a woman.

TL;DR: Extraordinary game. Horrendous community.

Love Puzzle is the first hentai game that I do not think is worth the small price tag, even while it is on sale. I know we don't play these games for the puzzle, but come on. These puzzle were far too easy to get through. I do not know how others have more than an hour in this game; I was able to complete it entirely in about 25 minutes. The UI is also very buggy. Check out the Quell series if you are interested in a non-hentai version of this puzzle that is implemented properly.

Skater XL is a chill yet hardcore skateboarding simulation. If you are expecting a Tony Hawks Pro Skater or Skate 3 replacement, then perhaps look elsewhere. Whereas the mentioned games use arcade single stick inputs for tricks, Skater XL lets you control both feet independently via the left and right joystick. Not merely the direction of flicks if logged, but also the speed and timing of each joystick movement has an impact on foot movement. For this reason, the learning curve of Skater XL is quite high. Landing your first tricks will feel so satisfying. An understanding of actual skateboarding trick mechanics is required. Luckily, maps feature challenges that can be effective way to learn how to perform all difficulties of tricks. The challenges mode illustrates what the trick should look like and shows controller inputs necessary to perform the trick.

Mods are essentially required. Luckily, skaterxl.mod.io is an available repository. You can find anything from beautifully designed skate parks and custom game physics (highly recommended) to custom decks and clothing. Installing mods is easy: download, drag, drop.

I love this game but it isn't for everyone. There are no objectives or story lines. However, the realism and skill cap will have you looking for lines to crush or projecting a new trick. I recommend getting the game and attempting to do a kick or heelflip. You likely will know quickly whether this game is worth keeping for yourself or not.

A short Blendoku type game. I am sure there are better iterations of this game out there, but the price tag is minimal... and it has boobs.

TL;DR: Very short, but beautifully intricate and well worth the floor change it costs.

Initially, the mechanics of the game might seem too easy to be thoroughly enjoyable. Quickly after being introduced to transmitter pieces and the various shaped connectors that rotate, you can begin to see the puzzling potential. Completing levels can be done at your own pace: do you want to map out a complex circuit that clears multiple available pieces at once or would you prefer to go one by one? The choice is yours, and either way, you will feel like genius after navigating the complex web and reducing it down until the puzzle is completed. The simplistic controls of Hook are easily mastered within the first few levels. However, meticulously controlling the circuit path to ensure you don't accidentally trigger any unwanted hook is a constant challenge.

As with many abstract puzzle games, the graphics are kept bare to appeal to a minimal aesthetic. This game takes it a bit further by having no UI other than arrows to change back and forth between the puzzles. There is no main menu and the game is exited by hitting Escape, which making the game close instantly. The music is kept simple, white noise with soft piano notes, and matches the style of the game well.

The game is very short at 50 levels. Once the game finished introducing all the mechanics and the easier levels are bypassed, there are only a handful of truly challenging levels. Although I am already wishing there was more, it is well worth the 1 to 1.5 hours it takes to complete this game. I will have my fingers crossed for a sequel.

Quell is a relaxing abstract puzzle game that gradually increases in difficulty as new mechanics are introduced. Completing the levels is never frustrating or too difficult. Mapping out the movement for completion before beginning to move can be really satisfying. For completionists there are two challenges per level: collect all the pearls in the optimal amount of moves and collect a hidden gem. The controls are simple, you can move the water droplet in four directions, but requires more logic once rings, switches and sliding off screen are introduced. The music by Steven Cravis perfectly suits the relaxing and minimal design of the game. I would recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of abstract logic puzzlers and The Quell Collection can surprisingly be found under a dollar when it is on sale.
