STEAM DECK LOADING AND CRASHING FIX!

You need to validate integrity of installation files. This happens form time to time (hasn't happens for me in a year though). Here's the steps:

1. Open Steam: Launch the Steam application on your Steam Deck.
2. Go to Library: Navigate to your game library.
3. Select the Game: Right-click on the game you want to validate.
4. Open Properties: From the context menu, select "Properties."
5. Local Files Tab: In the Properties window, go to the "Local Files" tab.
6. Verify Integrity: Click on the "Verify Integrity of Game Files" button and let the process complete

Restart Steam Deck and should work perfectly!.

As someone who lives in Seattle, and a lover of coffee. I felt a good connection to the game from it's Seattle area references, it's storyline and of course the awesome coffee making.
You're a barista, chit chatting with your customers on a daily basis as the story begins to unfold slowly as character development starts to build up.

To think I waited 3 years having this game sitting in my library waiting to be played (or never). Since I got my steam deck, I noticed lot of owners have been posting that this game woks incredibly well on the Steam Deck, so i decided to boot it up and give it a shot.

Like many, Im in my late 30's who grew up watching Dragon Ball. Have been quite disappointed with prior releases that were'nt my cup of tea. Having played this now, i am blown away to how accurate the story is to Dragon Ball Z. In fact the English voice acting (other than Future Trunks) is completely the same!

It's really nostalgic at the end of the day, but the gameplay, story, graphics are are perfect for anyone new to the series.

I'm an old school RPG player I've played games such as Breath of fire, final fantasy and some other Japanese RPGs from back in the day.

I'm in owner of a steam deck and so this game type fits well with my business travels and it looks absolutely stunning on the steam deck, works really well at 60 frames per second. Battery life lasts about 3hrs+.

I'm halfway into the game now and I'm enjoying a lot, it's a lot of fun. The character development is very impressive, even the NPCs. This game has a lot of similarities to Breath of Fire including the game sound, music and map design, all reminds me of old school Breath of Fire 4. Im certain it's definitely been built based on BOF. The story although good, I'm going to wait till I finish the game completely before I update the review of the story aspect of this game further.

Overall this game is a must-have for anybody who is new to RPG or played older RPGs. Or if you just have a steam deck and want something that's easy to pick up and put down at any time while enjoying a good story, fun gameplay and good art.

Big thanks to developers for creating something that reminds me of my childhood.

Only feedback I have is that, I'd love to see more of those cartoon cut scenes. Those are really good! Would be great to see more of that in Sea of Stars 2! Or a DLC

Steam Deck Users:
I just finished this game completely on the steam deck and using XR glasses. Performance wise, most of the time for a 2D game it ran like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with 6fps but wasnt to a degree that I wasn't unplayable. Just frustrating at times.

My Review (minor spoilers):
I have to admit it taught me quite a bit about Chinese culture and what they believe in regard to the dead or deceased.
This game has a really good story and told in a really good way. I felt really connected with most of the characters. The ending was a bit of a sad yet acceptable ending. If you ever play it it's only about a two and a half hour game, but took me about three and a half hours cuz I took my time. It's basically a story told as a form of gameplay with some minor puzzles. I really felt sad about one specific character at the end It actually hit pretty deep, enough that I really want to email the author or the creator of the game to ask some questions for closure. Also found out that this is going to be made into a TV show by a Chinese film company which is good. it's definitely worth getting a movie or TV show.
