The aesthetic is cute but the same is anything but chill. If you make a "mistake" during a level you have no choice but to start over for seemingly no reason.

I'm sorry to hear you are not enjoying the game. Are you aware that there is a "load checkpoint" option to go back to a previous step in the level? You can find it in the in-game menu.
