It's that kind of city builder that you load into and feel completely overwhelmed in your first world and make tons of mistakes and inefficiencies and while you don't really come close to failing, everything takes a long time to get off the ground.

And then starting that second world is absolute bliss.

This is the classic, janky, arcade shooter of your dreams. You're going to die and have no idea how. You're going to get spawn camped. You're going to hate every weapon in the game. You're going to love every weapon in the game. You're going to wonder how you can ever win a map when there are so many people between you and that last flag. And if you're in the right mindset, you're going to have fun.

I can't believe this game is this fun with only 4 buttons to use.

A great way to spend an hour, but I'm not convinced I'll replay it.

If you want to do the same thing every map using weird *** made-up sci-fi abilities on your SWAT agent where you scan a whole house with your weird ****** super eyeballs and then send in RC cars to kill your foes in the same meta every day with a bunch of toxic ******** who want to know "why did you pick that operator she's so **** you're such a noob" then stay the **** away from this game. This game is for people who want to get down and dirty and breach doors and shoot dudes and watch pixels fly from your enemies skulls on randomly generated maps. The planning phase is sick, and if you think you're just gonna strut in there with your ******** headshot skills and meta operators and **** dudes in the *** you're wrong kid. Now shut up, queue your synthwave, listen to the plan, move to your spot, flash, smoke, and get to shooting. **** I love this game.

PvE Bull****? Who gives a **** about PvE? Are you a ****in *****? Then yea you might like going to play PvE trash like Sea of Thieves. I'm a real gamer. I like to *** other dudes. I like to make kids ****in cry. I don't want to just go get a Pirate Legend cosmetic. Go **** yourself with that ****, dude. This is real man's ****. This is about asserting dominance over your opponent.

Lots of action, good scaling difficulty, and a fun cast of characters. This has easily become my favorite horde game, and an incredible co-op experience.
