It's just not for me. I'm a huge fan of social deduction games like Resistance, Werewolf, Night of the Ninja, Two Rooms and a Boom, Blood on the Clocktower - and even digital social deduction games like Betrayal Beach or Among Us.

But what those games all have in common is that mostly if you are on the evil team, you mostly stay that way.

My friends and I, who all like those other games, played a good handful of games of Paper Pirates now, and it just feel way more party game than social deduction. We just can't get into trying to figure out who is evil (a ghost) since it feels like that's constantly changing.

Having a great time with this. I like that your inventory is infinite, and I don't even think you can see what you have except in the context of what you need. Well done!

Like the game, but I keep getting kicked by anti-cheat, even though I'm not cheating and tried reinstalling it in many ways, including some batch file on Github.

Short but very fun! We blasted through the levels in under 3 hours, but I'd happily go back and play them again on a harder difficulty, or go for full stars.

Love the faster 4X genre. You get a lot of game in a shorter timeframe in this one.

Impressed by how different the factions are, without being so different that you're essentially playing different games (like Root).

High player interaction, very fun!

This was the first game I played in the NPC blend in genre, and I still love it! I played this a ton on my Ouya console.

The graphics aren't much, but they don't need to be. The gameplay is excellent, it makes for a great party game. It really boils down some of the higher level ideas from Spy Party into a party game more players can enjoy. Other great entries in the genre are Unspottable and West Hunt.

Played 2vs2 with my friends, and we had a great time. I love that there is no twitchy combat. One of my least favorite parts of Deceive Inc / Perfect Heist 2 (even though I like both) is when those games go from an NPC hunting game that's focused on stealth, bluffing, and battle of the whits to suddenly feeling like you're playing Counter Strike. lol

This is not Among Us - It's more like Spy Party (with support for more players). It stands on its own. The Sheriff team must correctly guess who is a player (vs an NPC). The other team does not get guns. Perfect.

Game play is a lot of fun, graphics are great, and has a low amount in-game bugs. We did run into a bit of jank outside of the game (but it didn't stop us from playing and having fun), and that you can't change your username without paying real money seems sketchy. Maybe they could allow it once per month, and only charge money if you want to do it more than that.

Overall, an excellent entry to the NPC hunting genre if you can find some people to play with. Other honorable mentions: Hidden in Plain Sight, Unspottable

Excellent entry in the co-op cooking game genre. While I didn't like the idea of the premise that much, the gameplay feels great. As fun as PlateUp, but stands on its own by being different enough. I didn't expect to be playing this single player, but I've spent a few hours doing just that with the help of the summons feature, and it's been a blast.

Also played 2 player now, and that's been fun, too. Recommended!

Really polished, lots of variety, including in the characters.

It's a side scroller in the Enter the Gungeon genre. Liked this more than I expected.

I bought this to play local co-op on my Steam Deck: it doesn't work. Only a single Bluetooth controller is recognized by the game.

Meanwhile, I boot up Overcooked 2 with the same controllers on my Steam Deck and it works great.

Please fix this regression.
