Let me preface this by saying I platinumed this game. I beat the main story and both DLC stories. Went out of my way to do side things, this is not from a place of inexperience.

I can't really recommend this game except as a bit of stupid fun (streamed the whole thing to a friend over Discord). The balance is all over the place. Since a lot of enemies use knockback it's not really worth using any characters except one of the ranged VTubers (since the goddesses have kinda jank cameras and anyone except Neptune can't aim for ♥♥♥♥). Fun character interactions typical for the series, nothing too special there. While I did have fun with the game overall, the balance was just not good enough for me to recommend it as anything more than stupid fun similar to something like Sonic 06. Go ahead and buy (wait for sale maybe, since the DLC is, as usual, too helpful) if that's what you're after, but otherwise stay away.

i got this as an impulse buy during a sale. i wanted to play with my friends. haven't done that yet but i have managed to find way more fun in solo than i expected. good game.

the war on drugs is just a plot by re-logic to remove all their competition

if you want a zombie shooting game i guess it's okay. i wouldn't know though. never played it like one. 10/10, would mod to hell and back again.

it's been over 140 hours of gameplay since i first posted this review. it still holds up completely. buy this game.

Although the game had several issues running on my laptop, once I got those worked out, the game worked perfectly. Overall, it's a very fun experience with compelling story and smooth gameplay, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys turn based RPGs.
