Best game that's been made in a long time. Developer's are gamer brained, cared about the product they were designing putting their whole hearts into it. This was not a half thought out pump & dump, this was a work of art. You can tell the creators truly cared for and wanted to bring to fruition. Every game should aim to be as lively and fleshed out as Elden Ring, if only other developer's cared about their community over maximized profits.

Should've called it Helldivers: Queue.

If they fix the server capacity issue, this thumb will turn blue!

UPDATE: I have been able to play the game this entire week without a queue

I like the concept, in its current state for $20 on steam it needs a looot of work. It's fun but so incomplete that it wore off quickly once I got tired of wonky alpha problems.

I love the OG flat out series. I wanted to give this a shot vs wreckfest (the flatout dev’s current game) because it is more in line with flat out in design whereas wreckfest is more focused on stock car racing and derby. They’ve got a good base to work with, I think they did well with the Rush tracks & I’m glad to see the inclusion of stunt mode.

What ruins it for me is the physics. They are wonky. All your momentum will come to a halt when you barely drift tap any solid object. The cars extremely bouncy, and often will perform kick flips if you run over a small piece of debris of which there is a lot of, tap a wall, or even just ride a bank too hard. The majority of car collisions result in you just climbing over them like some sort of hill climbing truck. Handling feels like it has some weird sort of steering acceleration. I don’t feel like it’s fair to call it “arcadey” it just doesn’t feel right. If the wonky physics were fixed, my friends and I would actually enjoy playing it.

This is a game I’ll watch to see if any big patches come out addressing these complaints as many people seem to have the same critique, and the potential for a fun game is here.

This game is a great social hub filled with things to do and customize yourself with. The playerbase isn't the largest, but it is dedicated. Hopefully the game and community continues to grow it's a lot of FUN!
