The Beginner's Guide is an art game created by the person behind The Stanley Parable. I brought this game because I thought I was going to get the experience similar to the game before it.

But what I got was a story based on real events. The developer was friends with a programmer named Coda, who made these seemingly simple games. But as we get further and further, we are told a story on how a person with mental issues can express themselves in ways no other person can. To see Coda stop developing games because Davey sent out games to be validated by people he trusted, it is a bit of a sad story. I don't know where Coda is now, but I'd like to say sorry.

If you like psychological thrillers that seem like a mixture of art exhibitions and simple games made in a matter of months, then this game is for you.

On the scale of 1 to 10, The Beginner's Guide gets a 9.

The special edition of the 'Secret of Monkey Island' introduces the franchise to a new audience, whilst sparking the nostalgia of those who played the game before. The remastered music, HD graphics, and character voices (for which Dominic Almatto reprises his role of Guybrush Threepwood) will ensure the enjoyment of those new to the point and click franchise, whilst pressing F10 will switch to Classic Mode where you see the game as it was in 1990.

If you want a fresh introduction to the Monkey Island franchise, this game is for you.

Man, I knew not to play the game with the lights off, but this game was not what I was expecting, even after that warning.

What looked like a cute game about a poetry harem turns out to be a horror game that is unlike Five Nights ad Freddy's.. And there is mystery surrounding the game. I'm going to get to the bottom of this. And because the game makes me want to do so, this is Cleverhardy giving this a 666/10.

One of the first Steam games I played fully, Portal 2 is a puzzle game which picks up where the predecessor left off. You wake up in a hotel room after an unknown time period, and come accross Wheatly, a friendly sounding core. You then begin emergency testing, where you familiarise yourself with the puzles from Aperture Science. You then wake up GlaDOS, who procedes to bully you into completing her tests once more. But the story gets more intersting from there. Why? Find out in the game.

The puzzle part of the game yet again uses its innovative 'Portal' system, in which you shoot two portals where alowed in order to help you through a maze. The story I enjoy too, as it is set out differently from the predecessor. The voices of Ellen McLain and Stephen Merchant will comfort you when trying to solve the puzzles you need to think outside the box to solve.

Unlike the predecessor, Portal 2 has multiplay mode, which encourages team working through a series of tests made for two. You can also engage in community maps, so the game won't get boring after completing the story.

This is one of the best games ever, and not just because it's from Valve (that said, the company strikes again). The story, puzzles and outstanidng characters will keep you playing until the end.

The Steam Controller is a piece of hardware that lets you play your favourite games (subject to compatibility) without a keyboard or mouse, which may be perfect for those that never use PCs for gaming.

Haptics take a bit of getting used to, but they will be easier once you install the firmware.

With a power noise of your choice, you will be welcomed to the world of Steam on your TV. That said, the controller works with Big Picture mode, and is perfect for using with the Steambox.

Team Fortress 2, the sequel to the original game developed by Valve, is a first-person shooter game in which you work as a team. Guided by the Administrator, you either work for Reliable Excavation Demolition (the RED team) or Builders League United (the BLU team); two teams fight against each other in an eternal stalemate as a by-product of war. There are many game modes for this version, but the most important include Capture the Flag (Intelligence), Control Points, Attack/Defence, King of the Hill and Payload. For more information, please refer to many community guidelines.

The game has some advantages. One major advantage is the cartoon style; in a departure from all realistic graphics typical of FPSs, Valve has created a cast of characters you may not find in other games of this genre (except Overwatch, maybe), from a braggadocious Bostonian (Scout) to a German mad scientist (Medic). You can make a fandom out of this.

The cartoon style has its consequences, though. Even though the game is rated 15 according to the British Board of Film Classification, anyone younger than 15 can enter the game for free, enticed by the cartoon style, and discover the steep learning curve and fustration that may lead to future problems. But what else is new when it comes to first-person shoters?

While TF2 begins to show its age (don't forget that it is ten years old), many updates are given out by Valve on an indefinite basis. Some good, some bad, some faulty (á la Meet Your Match), these updates show that Valve is ready to keep the community and game alive as long as the company is still running.

Overall, Team Fortress 2 is really 'worth the wait' as Gabe Newell stated. If you want to depart from the realistic war games, this free to play game is for you.

This game is like no other. Undertale, developed by Toby Fox, is an RPG which has a twist: you do not have to fight anyone. With a cast of relatable characters, and with nostalgia embedded on the graphics and music (you can make a fandom out of these), this is a significant indie game which definitely deserves the popularity and 'classic game' status.
