Wonderful production value, really good puzzles that will have you getting a headache trying to remember all the steps, meta puzzles that are far beyond what you would imagine. Enough content for... like I'm probably halfway done.

Jet Set Radio was never known for its engaging gameplay, but this will.

I knew the asthetics, music and vibes would be great, and they are. But the gameplay is very cohesive and everything makes a lot of sense and its super fun to play. Would highly recommend

This was an absolute joy to play. Its a good fps, but also has a lot of resource management and exploration. Its the kind of game that gives you all the tools to succeed in a variety of ways, but does not tell you the answer to use them.

This game feels great to play, unlike the originals "playing an operating system" menus, but its also so similar you can look up the original game's guides if you get stuck.

Story: good, but its not that deep. Shodan is a fun antagonist, and everyone already knows it.
Lore: nice, I liked finding and listening to it
graphics: great, with a nearest neighbor blocky texture asthetic, though I think the blocky textures can look low res and not good on several surfaces.
Gameplay: pretty great.

Overall, I rate it "you don't need to wait for a sale to buy this one"

Almost a year of patches later, the game is complete.

Even from the beginning the core gameplay was fun, but it was obviously unfinished and a lot of problems came with that. Happy to say the game's direction has been to improve the core of the game, and as of this update you can really tell, even with graphics alone.

This game gave me motion sickness

Honestly, this game was a lot of fun. There are a lot of easy things to dismiss it for, and you'll see plenty of them in negative reviews but the nebulous term "buggy" is not very fair as I encountered very few bugs and none game breaking, the gameplay is solid, even if the game is on the lower budget side, which is what most people throwing out this term probably mean anyways.

The most fun part of this game, I loved scoping out the map, learning to route to areas, and manage your resources to get there, it can be pretty engaging, then you do not have fast travel on the deepest layer you're allowed to go, so you have to make it all the way back up.

Its also an RPG, there will be collecting materials, crating items, doing quests for people etc. I did not find collecting materials excessive like many rpgs can be, so I enjoyed that too.

The story: Its servicable, nothing groundbreaking and there was a few parts I wondered if it could be considered cannon. However, there is a lot of lore to learn, all the monsters, a lot of interactions with the npcs and such made me excited to learn more and progress the story. (since I like Made in Abyss)

The combat is okay, I didn't think it was all that fun, sometimes you will hit things and it does no damange, honestly its really medicore. Many of the boss music enemies are a joke and easy to defeat also.

Lastly, there is the "reason-this-game-has-mixed-rating" The first 2-4 hours is a different game mode that showcases little of the best parts of this game, its basically a run to the next cut scene mode, you also are exposed to the ai companion system the whole time, which is borderline broken, and they repeat the same lines over and over. Really a worst of game showcase.

It is also 60 dollars.. for that I got 46 hours to fully complete the game. On the other hand, its obviously not the highest budget of game. Take that as you will but I am not going to take an attitude of condemnation for that and the amount of engaging time I received.

Spending 10K on lawyers to get rid of modding and private servers lol

Super fun. I thought the game would feel cheap, but it feels very well done, the story and stuff is fun too.

It's cute, she's funny, and the game is quite hard. I really enjoyed the experience
